Mika Nakashima’s 「CRY NO MORE」 is Blood+’s second ending song. I’ll be the first to admit that I’m a big fan of Mika Nakashima’s music, including this song, but I didn’t like this PV. The setting is a quaint, southern, Main Street USA-ish town, complete with Nakashima-san holding a branch of cotton. But what really kills this PV for me is the outfit they gave her for the church scene. It simply looks horrible on her. On a side note, I can’t help but want to call her Nana, especially since she’s still sporting the short hair. Anyway, good song, sub-par PV. I’ll keep my fingers crossed for a good 「SEASON’S CALL」 PV…

  1. !!! YES !!! those church clothes are just simply detestable… those flower patterns on a tight black outfit. In the end, the repeated gesture of quickly turning the head side to side irritated me a little too. The song is great nevertheless.

I just saw it, yea it’s not as good as some of her other PVs. And I agree with you I didn’t like the church outfit either. It just didn’t suit her.

And I think she’s still sporting the NANA hairdo because there will be NANA 2. I’m not sure if it’s already in the works, but it’s rumored to come out sometime this fall so maybe.

  5. Actually, the “ugly” dress she is wearing is an old church outfit I used to see alot of older people wear when I was a kid in the South (Atlanta, Georgia). She’s just staying within the theme of the song. So it actually works for the video. If anyone has ever seen the movei, “Color Purple”, she’s wearing Suge Avery’s outfit. Go Mika.
