Kimi ni Todoke – 16
As expected, this was entirely a recap episode, and it highlighted mainly Sawako’s relationship with Kazehaya, with her friends, and with Kurumi. They at least framed it around a discussion that Pin’s drunken little men were having, but it was still 95% scenes we’ve already seen. It did have the side effect of making me appreciate the soundtrack a bit more since most of these important scenes had some musical accompaniment. It also, of course, reminded me of the strong points of the series so far, so I’m looking forward to seeing how this finishes out in the final eight episodes.
