Covering as many series as I am this season, I’m finding that I barely have time to check out promotional videos on top of that, let alone blog about them. However, there are actually a good handful of them out for various opening/ending themes of anime series this season, so I thought I’d slip in a few here and there over the next week or so. First up is the sphere’s opening theme in Ichiban Ushiro no Daimaou, “REALOVE:REALIFE”, simply because this seiyuu group is composed of four of my favorite female ones — Tomatsu Haruka (20), Kotobuki Minako (19), Takagaki Ayahi (24), and Toyosaki Aki (23) (left-to-right in the pic above).
I was hoping to see a follow-up to Naoi’s sudden backstory and learn how he eventually died, but it looks like he’s already hopped the bandwagon and become one of the many SSS idiots.
My goodness Saki is a cutie pie. Aside from her unsettling religious-like adoration for Izaya, I have no how Masaomi can tell her that he’s interested in Anri now — and straight to her face no less.
I haven’t been keeping close tabs on the Gundam 00 follow-up movie that’s slated to premiere in theaters this September, but a new trailer for it was released earlier this week. For those wondering, the story takes place two years after the events of the second season (2314 A.D.) and appears to focus on a new pure Innovator named Descartes Shaman (Katsuji Ryou), who pulls Celestial Being back into action again. While continuing to showcase some of the new Gundams and how Setsuna’s new 00 seems to be equipped with Fangs, this latest trailer also features UVERworld’s theme song, “CHANGE”. There are some bigger questions raised by an earlier trailer though (see below), which shows Tieria back in bodily form and Nena Trinity (or at least Kugimiya Rie) back in some capacity as well. Also, yes, it looks like Feldt cut her hair. Nooo~!
I don’t know if it’s just the subtle way this series shifts between the present and flashbacks or if I’m just used to it being more obvious, but those transitions are evidently a key part of the screenplay that I should be taking better notice of.
