The two-episode Blu-ray release of Kampfer’s direct continuation has been released, and with it comes the more relevant first episode (thirteenth overall) that was preempted on March 31st due to the earthquake crisis in Japan. This episode is more relevant in the sense that it addresses the fallout of the eleventh episode of the original series, when Kaede was revealed to be a Moderator who oversees the Kampfer battles used to settle a power struggle somewhere off in the universe.

“Homeostasis of Dreams”

Intent on keeping his loveable mad scientist persona, HOUOUIN KYOUMA unsurprisingly ignores Titor’s suggestion of being “The Messiah,” and restarts the D-mail experiments. It doesn’t seem to be too far from his mind however, as part of the reason for his experiments tries to prove he has the ability to shift world lines while retaining his memo- *ahem* reading steiner.

Well, now that this whole arc has ended, I suppose it’s time to gather the facts again before we head into the final few arcs. So after reviewing THE ENTIRE SERIES, I’ve attempted to piece together the “chaos” that is GOSICK, so hopefully this may prove enlightening.
