There’s only one thing I’ve wanted to really see happen this season, and I’m so happy to see that it somehow managed to happen right at the very end. Like, it literally happened within minutes before the episode ended.

Having read the chapter that this first four-minute episode covered, I have to say a lot of the humor was lost in the fast-lipped dialogue.

An episode focused on mostly Nano and Hakase? I’m down for that!

As a rule, I’m not going to be blogging the same shows here on RC that I do on Lost in America, with the exception of a couple of series that I’ll be taking over from Kiiragi. But I asked to make an exception for “Colorful”. Why? Simply, because I really want this movie to get as much attention as possible. I admit it, this one is personal – I love the film and I want to promote it any way I can.

You smell that? Mmm, smells like… filler.

When Divine asked me if I wanted to join Random Curiosity as a contributing writer, I was, in sequential order, shocked, thrilled and honored.

RC was really the first anime blog I ever visited regularly – and it was the inspiration for me to start my own blog, Lost in America. I’ve spent the last year building the site up – posting frequently, networking, tweaking. And I’m proud of it. But if you start a community newspaper and manage to build a small readership, when the New York Times calls and asks if you’d like to write some articles for them, your only question is “When can I start?”

Divine has been very kind about allowing me to split my time, so Lost in America will go on, – I’ll blog several additional series there, plus the other stuff I like to cover – TV series like “Game of Thrones”, manga, my occasional Japan trips… I really hope you’ll check it out from time to time and leave me your feedback, as I put a lot into it. And, as hard as it is for me to believe, I’ll be blogging anime at Random Curiosity. I’m incredibly excited for that opportunity and I intend to do my best to make a real contribution to what I consider the best anime blog there is. My only disappointment is not getting the chance to work with Kiiragi, but I’ll do my best to keep up with the rest of the team.

It was obvious Kageroza wouldn’t be defeated so easily, since the main villain always pulls out various tricks and hidden abilities to give the good guys trouble before he goes down.

「宇宙人 – Anytime」 (Uchujin)
“Alien – Anytime”

In a sort of anti-climatic way, A-channel comes to a close. But I suppose going out on such a low key fits this show perfectly. With the main cast of characters all getting at least a few seconds of screen time, it felt pretty satisfying for an ending.
