「戦車(チャリオット)」 (Chariotto)
“Chariot”

I’m not sure if I’m the only one who noticed this but if you are a FAIRY TAIL manga reader, you’ve just been majorly spoiled by today’s episode. I’ll put what I noticed in a spoiler tag in case you didn’t notice and do not want to find out. For those of you who only watch the anime, this shouldn’t be a problem. Anyway, here goes…

So, FAIRY TAIL have finally earned themselves some points. The Chariot event was one I actually didn’t care much about while reading about it in the manga but here in the anime, it made an impact on me. Seeing how Natsu struggled to earn himself some points despite being mocked was truly something that grabbed my heart. His love for his guild and friends is really admirable and this is the main reason why I love him so much as a character. The other characters of the guild are all equally as admirable, but to me, Natsu truly stands out because he goes beyond his limits and does whatever he can for his loved ones, at least from what we’ve seen. Perhaps it’s because he is so strong, but still he is amazing! I do have to give Gajeel some respect too because he was also quite impressive. I find Gajeel very respectable because he has changed so much through this series. He started as a villain but is now a hero. I find that admirable, and I hope Levy does too because I certainly like to see these two characters together.

A couple I don’t like seeing together is Gray and Lucy (in terms of romance), but Juvia’s imaginations are so hilarious. It’s quite funny that it all seemed so real at the beginning until the background changed. Good thing is that Juvia ships Lucy with Natsu, which could be seen in the fourth OVA.

Going back to the Chariot event, while the main three participants were having a hard time with this challenge, there were some others who performed quite well. Enter Bacchus (Tsuda Kenjirou), a new participant for Quatro Cerberus. He is an old acquaintance of Erza, as well as an S-class mage. He is truly strong which could be seen when he broke one of the rides by stepping through it, and when he won. Aside from that, he is the first one to beat Cana when it comes to insane amounts of alcohol consumptions! I’m sure many people would like to claim the prize Bacchus took from this, but then again, not many people have the guts to face Gildarts, so yeah, Bacchus is toast! But not yet, because he is up against Elfman next week. It’s a battle I’ve been looking forward to for quite a while so hopefully it will be great. Aside from that, we’ll also have the continuation of Toby’s battle against Kurohebi. I feel a bit sorry for Toby because he is up against someone who is bound to cheat. But Toby is a funny guy so hopefully, there’ll be some comedy as well!

Moete kitazou!

  1. What a weird pace their having. They didn’t even finish the fight between Kurohebi and the dog man.

Also, Happy mimicking that guy’s way of talking is hilarious!

3 more episodes in and it’s Kagura vs Yukino!

    4. Charle’s premonition/dream – what’s going to happen to Lucy is what’s worrying me here.
    5. This episode can make anyone like a dragon-slayer easily. Natsu in particular.
