Sometimes it can be hard to tell whether a scene is intended to be taken seriously or not.

From the moment I saw this title, I could guess what it probably meant.

“A Private Place”

While it may not have quite the depth that other parts of Uchuu Kyoudai do, one of the things I find myself enjoying most is seeing the various stages of Hibito’s journey, almost as though we were living it alongside him.

In a sense, this was an episode about the small things.

We’re finally approaching launch – the first time any of the main cast in Uchuu Kyoudai will actually make it into outer space.

Brotherly love has always been one of the central themes of Uchuu Kyoudai and this is certainly an episode which highlights that fact.

I’m sure I don’t need to say this, but Uchuu Kyoudai really has a way with words.

It would suck to catch a virus and be unable to see Hibito off at this late stage.

All the talk about being one step behind or ahead during this episode makes me wonder – does Azuma feel something similar to what Mutta did when he realised he’d fallen behind someone who was supposed to look up to him?

As it so frequently does, Uchuu Kyoudai presents us with yet another series of parallels between the two ‘space brothers.’

Just as the title suggests, this was a week of fatherly expectations.

After taking a week’s break following the death of legendary astronaut Neil Armstrong, Uchuu Kyoudai finally returns with the conclusions to those extended cliff-hangers.

At last the day has finally come!
