This week’s sister theme really allowed for some balance between comedy and character development.

Rumor has it that a molester is hanging around the neighborhood but that doesn’t stop our characters from doing anything they usually do.

At Wagnaria, it’s customary to be greeted by blackmail and falcon punches on (hell, even after) your first day.

Another week at Wagnaria yet we don’t actually see much working again (big surprise there).

I wasn’t planning to post about WORKING anymore, but this episode was too hilarious to ignore. I’m a sucker when it comes to gags about misunderstandings and the ones here spread like a wildfire through Wagnaria.

Ah, the Takanashi women. I still remember how they were first introduced in episode four of season one and could’ve easily turned the show into a household sitcom.

Popura teaming up with Aoi? I never thought I’d see the day. I kind of wish they didn’t suck at stalking Hiroomi, even though they never had a chance at learning anything about his personal life.

「ぽうらの意地」 (Popura no Iji)
“Popura’s Disposition”

Just like its first season, the sequel to Working pre-airs its first episode a month ahead of its scheduled fall season start. The opening and ending sequences along with their themes “COOLISH WALK” and “Itsumo no you ni LOVE & PEACE!!” were similarly withheld for the regular premiere, but this was otherwise a full 24-minute dose of all things Wagnaria once again — now with an apostrophe in the title.

Better late than never I guess, as Matsumoto Maya (Kawase Akiko) finally gets some screen time and lines in the final episode.

After the tragic loss of the Magic Hand to the “Mahirunator” last time, Souta comes back prepared with not only Magic Hand #2, but #3 as well thanks to a promotion they had going on.
