The end is nigh and the answers reveal themselves in a manner only Zetsuen no Tempest can pull off. As usual, we’re treated to a series of amazing revelations and twists, and I can only say one thing: I love this show.

「フーダニット (誰がやったか)」 (Fūdanitto (Dare ga Yatta ka))
“Whodunit (Who did it)”

Now that’s how you set up for the end of a series. After 20 episodes of red herrings, false turns, twists, and many potential candidates… the Mage of Exodus is finally revealed.

「願ったものは」 (Negatta Mono Wa)
“The Object of Desire”

Filled with twists and turns, the beginning of the end approaches.

「舞姫」 (Maihime)
“The Dancing Princess”

Well, that escalated quickly.

Suddenly, it feels like the pieces of the puzzle are coming together—all to form a picture bigger than we possibly could’ve imagined.

“The Wandering Apparition”

Seems!? Nay! It is. I know not seems!

「何やら企んでいるようであり」 (Naniyara Takurande Iru Youdeari)
“You Seem to Be Plotting Something”

This series really just doesn’t let you get your bearings. Every time you think you know what’s going to happen next, Zetsuen just throws you for a loop. The best part? They’re some darn enjoyable fruit loops.
