「君は僕に似ている」 (Kimi wa Boku ni Niteiru) is See-Saw’s second Gundam SEED/Destiny song and the current ending song. Fittingly, they sang the first ending of the original SEED, and now the last ending song of Destiny. The PV for this song has been incredibly hard to find for me. Ironically, I finally located it late last night, only to find it released this morning. Anyway, the PV shows two boys and a girl, all with the same necklace, probably related in some way. The two boys confront each other by the end of the PV and disappear. The girl, who’s been running the entire time, gets to the house to find them gone. I don’t completely understand it, but it does make for an interesting PV…a lot better than the 「あんなに一緒だったのに」 (Anna ni Isshodattanoni) PV that basically just showed the two members of See-Saw singing the entire time.

  1. Thanks for blogging about this PV! I’ve been expressing my bewilderment over what it means, and having heard no other similar opinions, I thought I was missing something. It feels like a movie that had too many cuts made, so that the final result is supremely ambiguous.

I wonder why See-Saw went from a video with only the two of them to a video with … the complete opposite. No cameos, even. I’d have preferred something in between; some extra narration would have helped.
