• Maestro and I have been doing some maintenance on the site in recent days, and it briefly broke the paged comments functionality on the blog posts by incorrectly redirecting some comment page links back to front page. I’ve gotten several emails about this, and I’m fairly certain that we’ve found the problem (caching conflicting with permalink structure) and have fixed it. If you’re still seeing comment page links that redirect incorrectly to the front page, let me know in the comments here or via email.
  • In anime news, according to an announcement at Wonder Festival 2008 [Winter] today, Macross F’s airdate has been set: it’s going to be taking over Shakugan no Shana II’s Thursday 25:25 timeslot on MBS starting April 3rd, 2008. So that means Macross is going to be on Thursdays and GEASS will be on Sundays, though those are only two of the 35+ series premiering in the Spring. 🙂

    1. 35+ new series? Does anyone have a compiled list of what’s going to be airing? I think I’m going to be more selective this season and cut back from my regular 28-30 shows so I have more time to do other things after work…

    2. Wow, 35 shows….yippy! *o* I am so STOKED about the Spring season~ There’re quite a few series that I’m all hyped up about. :O I’m also kinda anxious to see the things Omni will want to watch~

    3. Okay, I’m ready for Code Geass R2 now. I just “marathoned” the entire first season yesterday (1-25, 2 recaps, + picture book eps). 日曜は暇だよね~

I’ve been putting off watching it, but thought I should get around to it before the spring season.

I still haven’t had a chance to go through the entire list of shows, but the obvious ones for me to watch are:
      – Macross Frontier
      – Code Geass R2
      – D.C. II Second Season (P.S. I hope they’re done with the whole Minatsu thing now)
      – plus any shows that are continuing on from this season. e.g. PERSONA -trinity soul-

Crystal Blaze (クリスタルブレード) looks like it stars Shin’ichirou Miki, Ueda Yuuji, Arai Satomi, Takahashi Mikako, Kobayashi Yuu, Sawashiro Miyuki, Chiba Saeko, and Takahashi Hiroki to name a few. I haven’t seen a show with Hiroki in it for awhile now (not even a minor role).

Allison & Lillia (アリソンとリリア) stars Mizuki Nana as Allison and Noto Mamiko as Fiona.

Anyone else see anything particularly interesting yet? Omni?

    4. Well this are in my to watch list on Spring

      – Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion R2 (After the awesome 1st season I’m sure to watch this!)

      – xxxHolic-Kei/xxxHolic-Tsugi – (I love the manga and the 1st season plus this 2nd season might crossover with Tsubasa now since IG did the OVA)

      – Vampire Knight – (I also loved the manga looking forward to the anime, I hope it won’t be a disappointment)

      I might watch:

      – Nabari no Ou (seems interesting, since Rie Kugimiya is doing the heroine
      – SA ~Special A~ – also looks interesting we’ll see

      Tsuki-kun
    5. I’ve got my initial list narrowed down already.

Of the 20 listed, there are only 10 I really want to watch. The other 10 are there for future reference/consideration, meaning I’ll probably check out the first couple of episodes and see how they are.

Vampire Knight looks to be a good one, although I haven’t read the manga. I probably won’t be watching xxxHolic-Kei though since I haven’t seen the first season, but it looks interesting nonetheless.

Again, my choices on what to watch are heavily seiyuu-driven. i.e. I initially pick what shows to watch based on which seiyuus are cast.
