Summary:

On her way back to the shopping mall, Saki calls Hirasawa and explains what she knows about Akira. She and Micchon want Hirasawa to examine the data that Itazu sent, but he has more immediate problems right now because of all the NEETs who have arrived. Those NEETs have gone to work recovering their old cell phones from the large piles, and in the meantime, Hirasawa and company are able to find a safe spot to hide. Saki uses this time to explain to them over the phone that Akira had recruited people on the net to help him evacuate people originally, but the people who were saved were suspicious of why Akira and his helpers knew about the missile attack. Akira thus gathered the NEETs afterward and declared himself the culprit of the missile terrorism so that all the hatred would be directed at him. He then sent the NEETs to Dubai so that they’d be hidden from the public’s attention. Having been betrayed by the people he wanted to protect the most, Akira had finally erased his memories.

Saki thinks that their best course of action in order to prevent the new missile strike is to post the target locations online, but the problem is that those locations are on the laptop that Hirasawa and the others left behind to the NEETs. Fortunately, Kasuga has an idea on how to get it back: infiltrate the NEETs by having the guys strip down naked. They thus manage to get close to the group that is holding the laptop, and right as the NEETs start getting suspicious, Hirasawa grabs it and runs. The NEETs give chase, and Hirasawa has to throw the laptop to Oosugi before he gets caught. At around the same time, Saki and Micchon arrive and dash through the mall, and they manage to run into naked Oosugi. Once they’re able to look at the data, they realize that one of the targets is none other than where they are, Toyosu. Before the group can do anything about it though, Akira starts broadcasting a video message to the cell phones of everyone inside the mall. Claiming that he’s launching another missile attack, Akira instructs everyone to go to the mall’s rooftop if they want to survive.

The stairwell up thus becomes jam-packed with naked NEETs, so Saki and the others try to take an elevator. The NEETs come after them and prevent the elevator door from closing, but Akira then appears through the other elevator door, saves Oosugi, and pushes the NEETs out of the elevator. He turns to leave, but Saki stops him because she suspects that he’s really here to save everyone. This time, Saki extends her hand, and Akira takes it and pulls her with him. They end up in the amusement park area above the mall, separated from all the NEETs, and Akira instructs the NEETs to write on the Eden of the East site their ideas for shooting down the missiles. As the NEETs get to work, Akira admires their potential, and he soon has thousands of suggestions. He then calls Juiz, and she’s ready to employ the best method out of those. The attack missiles come flying in soon after, and right as Akira targets them with his finger and lets out a “Bang,” fighter jets fly in and launch interceptor missiles.

All over Japan, the attack missiles get shot down while still in the air, and many of the Selecao watch it happen, as does Itazu who had survived. Tsuji in particular is unimpressed and thinks that Japan has already on the way to its demise. Back at the shopping mall, there’s one last missile heading straight towards the merry-go-round that Akira is standing on top of, and though he manages to blow it up at the last second, Akira gets thrown back by the debris. He’s unhurt, but he grows worried when he sees Saki unconscious. Fortunately, she’s okay as well, and while she’s still waking back up, Akira calls Juiz and asks her to make him the king of Japan with the rest of his money. He feels that this country has a lot of smart people, but no one to play the thankless role, and although he himself doesn’t really want to do it, there’s a girl who believes in him. Akira also asks Juiz for something else, and after Saki regains consciousness again, he listens to a noise from his cell phone and then slips it into her pocket. Saki recalls that this is how Akira became a prince in this country with no king.

ED Sequence

Well damnit, that was every bit as frustrating an ending as I was afraid there’d be. It was certainly very cool to see the Bang scene with Akira “shooting” down the missiles (just like the ED papermation foreshadowed) while that song Reveal the World was playing in the background. But aside from the second missile attack, pretty much everything else remained unresolved. They even added twists by having Akira ask Juiz to make him the king of Japan and by showing that Akira requested something else that is probably connected to the noise coming from his cell phone at the end (another memory wipe perhaps), so this was essentially a cliffhanger. It’s even more frustrating because we won’t be able to see the conclusion of it until the two movies are released, and those won’t be out until November and January respectively. I was yelling at my screen by the time this announcement appeared.

While it’s fresh on my mind though, I found it interesting that Itazu ended up surviving since I didn’t see any reason to revive him after seemingly killing him, unless they wanted to reduce the body count or (more likely) unless he’s going to play a role in the movies. Hopefully Shiratori will appear as well since she didn’t really do anything at the end here, and I suspect the two movies will probably give them a lot of freedom to involve all of the remaining Selecao. And what was with the creepy taxi cab driver that they focused on for several seconds? Is he actually someone important, like Mr. Outside? The Atou Taxi that he was driving could be a tip-off.

Final Thoughts: The series isn’t over, so these aren’t truly final thoughts on it, but more a reflection on what we’ve seen so far. I found Eden of the East to be a wonderful series which had tons of charm in the first episode, became more mystery-oriented in the middle, and ended decently even if it was a cliffhanger. The bright side of leaving a lot of things unresolved is that they at least didn’t have to rush the story to get everything wrapped up nicely by the finale. I still wish they animated this as two seasons instead of one season and two movies, but I should probably just be happy that there is more. Hopefully I won’t have forgotten about the details of the plot or even have lost interest in the show by the time the movies come out.

  1. The Special Edition DVD version will have horizontal widescreen for all the fujoshis out there. I wish the series had just extended itself into summer rather than waiting for two movies; this one seems kinda slow.

  2. If you look closely around 1:39 (I think) into the episode, you can see the side of the taxi that the old man is driving. It says “Ato Taxi,” possibly implying the driver is either Mr. Outside, Selecao #12, or something similar.

  3. Am I the only person who didn’t like this series? Everywhere I look people are raving about it – but I just don’t get it. I’m thinking there might be something wrong with me :p

  4. I don’t quite get why Akira whipped his memory a 2nd time, or the need for it. But he gave his phone to Saki. This, for all the romance fans out there, imo, is a very good thing. It’s not like she can use it since it’s locked UNLESS that’s why they kept Pantsu alive in the first place, which is a possibility. But to replace Akira as the main later with Saki doesn’t fit well either, so we’ll have to wait and see how it plays out.

Right now, without seeing the ep, I can’t really understand the why behind the 2nd memory wipe.

  5. lol, did they really just pull a Shaun of the Dead and escape the furious NEETs by pretending to be part of them? Ha ha. Huh, and there’s the carousel that was in the advertisement poster. I was wondering if that was going to show up.

So Ryou, Daiju, and Jintaro’s plot has been foiled, but there are still questions to answer. Well, the movies aren’t too far off, though I still wish that they had lengthened the series instead. Ah well. Hopefully we’ll see Selecaos III, VI, VII, VIII, and XII then.

Anyway, final episode looks gorgeous. I look forward to watching it.

  6. Well, it was an amazing episode to say the least but the cliffhanger was a killer D: It was kind of predictable yet surprising at the same time that he became the prince because it was said in the first episode, but also I thought of it as a metaphorical statement and not a literal one. Also the second memory wipe is kind of annoying because it means we may have to go through him finding himself all over T_T

“I can’t really understand the why behind the 2nd memory wipe.”

I am guessing that Akira is again betting on his ‘new’ self to take the role of a responsible king to lead Japan. For whatever reason, he probably sees that it is fit to start the role unbiased by recent events since he regained his memory.

I just hope he falls in love with Saki all over again (hoping he was to begin with).

I am MAD hype for the movie.

  8. Sorry to say it, but the ending was freaking stupid. First of all, NEETs helped? “USE PLANES TO SHOOT DOWN MISSILES” yeah you have to be a genius to figure this out… Secondly, how come Akira still is able to use Juiz, I mean if it was that simple, why wouldn’t Nr. 1 (or whatever) contact her to stop Akira? I can’t be arsed to point out more flaws because I am way too disappointed with this series. It was basically too random. Let’s hope that the movies will be better (doubt it).

  9. i can’t believe that it is gonna be in two movies. I can’t deal with it and then living in America it would take forever to get a sub version if we have to wait for a DVD release.

  10. Itazu lives!

On another note that was a pretty complex explanation of him being the misinterpreted hero, hopefully Akira won’t be wiped off the face of the earth by the supporter for having used the rest of his funds.

And what was the significance of him placing the phone in Saki’s jacket? Is he passing on his responsibility or does he realize that Eden is potentially a more powerful tool in the hands of the people?

    Hiwatari
  11. I honestly thought the old man was mr.outside, and I still think we is. I am sad that the series is done and we have to wait a while for the movies; Also that he wiped his memories again.(Only reasons i started crying.)

    Hime
  12. Not entirely sure why Akira wiped his memories a second time, but I pretty sure the reason why he slipped his phone into Saki’s pocket was to avoid regaining his memories again, (cause the phone helped him get it back the first time). its so annoyinggg though. whyd he have to do that? D:

And theres still some things that need answering, like whyd Akira have a gun in DC and who/what was he trying to aim at?
How is it possible for number II and number XII havent used their money yet and not be killed? Well, the only thing number XII did with his/her money was move Juiz to a secret location, but yeah. Is it possible for a selecao to have more than one phone? (II & XII same person?) Also, how will the other selecao play a role?

Dont want to wait for a 2 fricken movies to get the answers. DX

  13. I hate reading books but if this story came out as a series of proper books i’d definetly buy them to read. It’s a great story thats still realistic even tho its a bit farfetched.

  14. Kind of a so-so ending. I wonder why all the NEET’s were men. And the best they could think of was to shoot down the missiles. I thought it would be more inventive. Didn’t Tak lose the game because he is out of money and Japan still have problems I mean the doctor was killed because he ran out of money so why not him. Also the Selaco that have not spent any of his money is he wealthy because he had a Maybach waiting for him. But I wonder will the movies have the same production values as the anime and will the second movie be made if the first doesn’t make money. Because by November this anime will be totally forgotten when the first movie comes out.

  15. At the end of episode 10, Mononobe sees that Seleçao XII “Relocated the real Juiz to a safe location”. Then we see in episode 11 Saki and Micchon are being transported to a safe location via a taxi driven by Mr. Outside himself. This leads to me wonder if the “real Juiz” is referring to Saki. Here’s what I mean:

Juiz always says to “continue being a messiah” at the end of her phone calls with Takizawa and the other Seleçao. Saki is really the only person we see in the series with an unwavering faith in Takizawa. No matter what the evidence looks like at any time, she always believes in Takizawa and that he is really doing the right thing. In this way, he is like her own messiah. Takizawa tells Juiz “there are plenty of smart guys in the world, but no one willing to take that role [the role of the King]. Even I’d like to avoid it if I could. But if there’s just one kid who believes it…

I think he recognizes that Saki believes in him, and in that way, she is like Juiz to him. I wish I could place thesis on all this speculation. *sigh*

  16. nice semi-finish. well at least a great episode.

it was cool that they showed her https://randomc.net/image/Eden%20of%20the%20East/Eden%20of%20the%20East%20-%2011%20-%20Large%2030.jpg again, asking to be saved haha cute? or naughty?!

Him becoming King and all was like oh shit that’s cool, but dam that means no more money, death or judgment now.but did he really erase his memory, with a phone alone? doesn’t he need to go to America for that lol, at least a lab.?

oh and I was wondering when Akira and Saki were gonna go to the Farris wheel https://randomc.net/image/Eden%20of%20the%20East/Eden%20of%20the%20East%20-%2011%20-%20Large%2037.jpg the one from the main site. ha

and now like them https://randomc.net/image/Eden%20of%20the%20East/Eden%20of%20the%20East%20-%2011%20-%20Large%2042.jpg i will wait for the movie(s) to come out while gazing at the sky.

  17. Slightly let down with the ending. Well, wasn’t really an ending was it?
I suspected the ‘prince’ thing would hold some significance, but never thought it was meant literally.
As for the NEETs helping, I think any old person could have used fighter jets to shoot them down. Was hoping for something a bit more inventive…
In regards to the theory that Saki is Juiz, it’s something I could follow. The taxi driver must also hold some importance since the director obviously tried to put some focus on him with the extended close-up. If he’s Mr. Outisde, who knows. I doubt he’d throw himself into the thick of things or get too involved.
Either way, LOADS of questions are left unasnwered. Just a shame they decided to go the movie route with the conclusion. I think it could have been much better if they went for 26 eps. Instead, fans such as ourselves will have to wait well over a year for a DVD release.
Ah well, plenty of other new series/season of shows to keep us busy until then.
Let’s just hope the movies are worth the wait.

  18. Just an observation, during the opening with all the Selecao numbers displayed, three vanish in this order: IV, V, X. IV and V match the story so far in episodes 3 and 4 respectively. However, it seems X lives through episode 11…

    V
  19. Did he really wipe his memory? I couldn’t tell after watching the episode. He has no more money, so I suppose he has no use for the phone, but doesn’t that mean he’ll have to meet the Supporter (if he really does exist/is Mr.Outside)

    shirokiryuu
  20. Well here is what I think about the memory wipe…he knows that it would be hard becoming to prince, and in his present state of mind impossible. So he had has memory wiped then gave his phone to Saki. Saki will then read the log and when Akira ask who is he, Saki will say Akira, King of this country, so that will make him fully believe that’s who he is with(which is the one person that believes him). I don’t really think Akira needed to wipe his memory for this but he did it once before for pretty much the same reason. I guess he realize wiping his memory is pretty effective lol.

    hallyo
  21. Wow… I was quite pleased with what they’ve managed to pull off and even though there are far too many lingering questions, the ending was a good one and even though I wouldn’t say I’m ecstatic, I’m at least content, and that works for me.

  22. Well, in spite of giving his phone away to Saki after weeping his memory, I really don’t think Akira did so to push the responsibility on her, since *first thing first* it’s simply impossible: she is not the selected messiah and can’t order around Juiz…
    I believe he did so to keep a connection with her; but if so, why take the trouble or erasing his memories…again? He doesn’t seem like he is in too much despair this time around ^^;
All in all, I would have been driven half insane if there hadn’t been 2 movies coming up relatively soon aha~
Eden of the East really is one of the best anime this Year ^__^

    Sherry
  23. wait guys,
did he really wipe his memories out cold????
i watched the raw so im not sure, but all there was, was some weird noise
Perhaps he asked juiz to transfer the selecao from him to Saki, and the sound was
from the data being renewed or something
Could someone certify with absolute certainty that he did in fact wipe his memories out
as most of the posts here seem to imply???
    Thx

    hm
  24. My interepretion of the ending (which i liked)
    i) He mind wiped himself to be “reborn”, carrying no baggage not bias into his new role as king

ii) He gave the phone to Saki as a momento as he would not remember her.

iii) Mr Outside and/or Juiz implicitly supports his decision as he was not killed by the supporter (from Saki’s short comment)

iv) The NEETs uploading to eden was to show Akira’s belief that social outcasts are not worthless and will show their potential when circumstances force them. It may very well be that the 20k NEETs may regain the confidence to once again paricipate in society and this was the reason why Akira gathered them on the roof.

    v) The game may or may not have ended. Despite the implict definitaion that Akira should be the winner since he was not killed, he may be simply listed as a special case by Mr Outside and a new participant added or the number 9 spot blanked out.

Regarding a previous poster’s question, Saki knew everything as a time skip was used last episode during the explaination of the betrayal of Akira but she heard everything. Confirmed this episode.

The entire anime was a very interesting social/political commentary of Japan as now.

    Zaku Fan
  25. Not that there is valid reason yet for him not to be, but everyone’s suspicions of the taxi driver’s identity to be Mr. Outside reminds me of how everyone thought the wagon driver at the end of Code Geass was Lelouch.

However, I really do hope that Akira doesn’t end up taking the Lelouch path of operation “blame self to solve the world’s problems”.

For those who think the NEETs only purpose was to text the obvious solution of “shoot missles down with planes”, think about all 60 of the missles, there were more than planes, Juiz’s methods to complete Akira’s plan utilized AA missles, Jets, and many other things which would have had to have been spread throughout the entire country that was to be victim of all 60 missles. What was shown was only the dramatization of Akira “shooting” the missles down himself with a “bang!”.

    @hm
That is definately one of my suspicions, possibly that Akira may have wiped his memory, but not all of it. Although that sound is probably specific to the memory wipe, so I don’t think he can “transfer” his Selacao status, seeing as he would not only endanger Saki (which he would never do on purpose), and it would sure be an easy way to shove off the responsibilities on someone else for any of the Selacao who don’t want to “lose” this game.

    @Zaku Fan
Your i) is almost exactly what I said in my earlier post. But as I said too, I believe that like when he talked to Hiura (the doctor Selacao), he told him that Akira probably erased his memories to bet on his “new self”, which I believe is a very similar case at this point in the story, and to go into this role unbiased and uninfluenced by the events since the last time.

Some bias events could possibly be that he really cares for Saki and wouldn’t want to put her first; maybe he wanted to be able to put everyone first, sort of like the Spiderman split between Mary Jane and Aunt May when he’s forced to choose between the two when the Goblin throws them in the air in the movie.

Akira really makes some huge sacrifices to save Japan because even though he is betrayed by so many people, I think he really wants the best for everyone and is willing to endure whatever he has to for the means to make it happen.

    Nyfe
  26. Akira is still going to be subjected to the way everyone treats him; if they all knew him as a kind person that cared for everyone – or atleast tried to, he will believe it and follow the path that he created as a Selecao.

This might change based on the interactions from the other Selecao yet to be introduced, or the development of Ohsugi as a rival to reclaim Saki and his manhood. However it’s all speculation at this point.

I also don’t see how having a King would help better Japan. It’s been shown in history that there were benevolent Monarchs but most would end up becoming corrupted while looking for absolute power. Moreover I think that the way he unified the Neets on the roof for a common purpose would be the requirement for the rest of Japan in order to save it from the individualist nature that they’ve all grown accustomed to. By breaking that mold he probably helped to show them an alternative to life and how they know it.

    Hiwatari
  27. Another thing about the taxi driver, he looks like the same guy that appeared in Episode 4 during the flashback when Takizawa was meeting the hospital director and locked in a room getting the selecao game explained to him. Same tie, same uniform, and same chin, and driving the same car. It also looks like it was before Takizawa became a Selecao too.

So that guy is Mr. Outside confirmed?!

I could take screenshots but it just refuses to work at the moment. Not sure where the Ato Taxi words could be seen on Ep. 11 either, but the Ep 4 flashback clearly shows the number plate too.

    Totakeke
  28. Anyone else find it funny how Akira pretty much used all of his money saving the Japan from other Selecao? So in terms of Selecao actually doing their job he did the least.

    hallyo
  29. Ok anyone else confused as hell to why number one (i think it was him, the guy trying to be mr outside) got in a helicopter and the random selecao who didnt want to spend any cash got in his limo, but in the next scene they are sitting in the same car.

Why even leave seperate when your just going to end up in the same place.

And 50 dollars says that juiz is the supporter in the next movie

    LeftArrow
  30. @Kelcey

No, it doesn´t. Besides, it does not make sense. I don´t understand why people are saying it. Omni only wrote: “another memory wipe PERHAPS”. Just a speculation.

    Bagarovski
  31. One hell of an episode…

He did spend most of his money. As to why Akira still lives even after spending his fortune is because NOT much time has passed since he used it all. It’s not like the supporter is waiting around the corner waiting for the moment Akira spend his fortune. Akira might still have to face the consequence, but we won’t know until the movie.

Akira knows Saki believes in what he’s trying to do. As covered by most, he wiped his memory to relief himself of the baggage giving him a fresh start as the King/Prince of Japan. At least that’s what I interpret from his conversation with Juiz just before the wipe. Post-wipe, he could then do his best to govern or whatever without knowing he’s taking on the job just because he is bearing all the guilt. By giving his phone to Saki, she might guide him to become the savior Japan needs instead of the recovery his memories.

Can’t freaking wait for the movie… It’ll be months after that before any sort of translation T_T Guess it’s time to start learning japanese.

    choiboy
  32. So small theory…maybe he wasn’t killed because being king means he gained infinite power and money; thus not “running out” of his 10 billion, more like inheriting more?

    Rae
  33. ow and, has anyone really paid attention to the OP and read everything that is in there, probably a lot of hints are given when you read the text. As a sample, the part where you see Akira they keep saying ‘The King has come!’ and so on. Will investicate later.

    voxune
  34. What if that sound isn’t his memories being removed, but rather having them restored? Now that he already knows what he did and the issue of the NEETs is as resolved, more or less, there’s no reason to keep the original mental block in place.

I’m still wondering what role the ‘society computer’ will play in the over-arching plot. It and Eden itself are far far too powerful conceptually to not be more interwoven into the plot. One’s a system for gathering data on everything; the other a system that, given data on everything, can predict the outcome. Those two together have the potential to make someone (perhaps a king) almost clairvoyant. Speculating on this series is far too much fun.

    pohki
  35. @ pohki

“What if that sound isn’t his memories being removed, but rather having them restored?”
You could have something there; that’s a powerful speculation. And I couldn’t agree with you more, it IS incredibly fun.

    Nyfe
  36. I don’t quite see why everyone is assuming that Akira had his memory wiped at the end. I realize he had something of a blank look on his face, but my first impression was that Juiz implanted knowledge (about being a king?) into his head, a la The Matrix. He still had enough wits about himself at the end to place the phone into Saki’s pocket with some purpose.

    Catsby
  37. OR it could be that he requested Juiz to wipe itself/self destruct to prevent this game from continuing, seeing how dangerous the other Selecao can be… Being a computer AI I’d expect random noises coming through the phone once its gone… but then again someone’s gonna bring in the 3 rules of robotic AI but who knows its a speculation right? =D

    Eria
  38. Eden of the East was a really refreshing anime. At least it’s plot was way different from the past animes, an original story somehow. Not those typical stereotype plots. I’ll be looking forward to the two movies >:)

I hope Saki and Akira gets along well… but I really feel bad after I read the title of the 2nd movie, something like “Paradise Lost”

    ???
  39. @ Catsby and Eria
It’s most likely a memory wipe. The sound effect in the last episode is exactly the same as the one in Ep.01 the moment he loses his memory. It isn’t heard anywhere else throughout the season. That’s why it’s safe for everyone to assume he wiped his memory.

It makes sense. A person would usually go corrupt if they have to carry memories that contradict their original goal ala Kira from Death Note and like the detective who said he initially started the game with justice in mind, but ended up in a bloody mess. Literally. Akira knows that by wiping his memory, he can entrust his ‘reborn’ self to do the right thing, as opposed to risking doing the wrong thing if he kept his memories.

    @lang0
That woman was the detective’s wife, whom he cheated on. She killed him out of betrayal.

Just rewatched EotE now. Like ??? said, it’s very refreshing, and beats Death Note in terms of being realistic, except for one thing in Ep.10. Don’t you think it’s rigged how it cost XII only 5,000 yen to move Juiz to a hidden location?! If he keeps doing only that, everyone else’s account balances will have expired WAY before his does.

    Julian
  40. just finished watching it for the 2nd time a while ago and this time I think that the guy in the beanie in episode 10 & 11(forgot his name), the selecao who said he still had the 10Billion yen in his balance might be the supporter. If I’m not mistaken, the 12th selecao’s history states that he still had 10B yen and 5,000 yen was used to move Juiz ~_~

but i guess i’ll just have to hold on and wait for 11/28 😀
pls don’t kill off the main characters in the movie and give them a happy ending lol

    ???
  41. Not possible. That guy in the beanie is II, and he was standing RIGHT THERE in front of I and X. If he did anything, they would have noticed. He could simply have been lying or simply spent a few Yen on a pack of gum, which would leave his remaining balance close to 10 billion (fulfilling the condition that the money must be used). Notice that limo that pulled up to him at the end? If he didn’t call Juiz for it, you could assume he’s already rich and doesn’t need to use the 10 billion yen as readily as the others.

    Julian
  42. It is the best anime ever.
    The episode was so nice.
But it is getting me angry!! i want more of it!!
    And now It’s overrr…
Maybe he didn’t wiped his memory again! Maybe he did the oposite… Maybe he turned his memory back to him. I mean. To wipe his memory. He have to request it. ahhh I’m comfused.

    Takizawa
  43. if what Mononobe (no.I) said about Ato Saizou is correct (and the terminal cancer based death false), Mr. Outside (or No. XII) does not have to spend ANY of his ‘alotted’ 10bil yen at all as he is using other cash source(s) in a similar situation as II.

speculation – (and his taxi side job unnoticable to other Selecaos)…

    info600
  44. @All those who think he restored his memories
I’d very much like to see that happen and really hope that’s the correct interpretation but given the ‘blank’ look on his face after the voice sequence completes, it’s pretty much thin chance. 🙁

    orochimaruSanin
  45. I think that his memories were restored. Think about it… if his memories were wiped, why would he put the Noblesse in Saki’s pocket afterwards? There’s no way it was just a delay in the actual memory wipe, because in the first episode his memories are completely gone immediately following those noises.

And I hope it’s not something ridiculous like data about how to be a king being transferred directly into his mind. I’ve enjoyed how semi-realistic the series has been.
