Perhaps the crisis became so severe that the situation of the Financial Districts leaked out to the general public, but I’m not sure why the news media are reporting on C when only entres and certain organizations are aware of Midas money and Financial Districts.

「Collapse（破綻）」 (Hatan); 「Collision（衝突）」 (Shoutotsu)

The causes of phenomenon “C” are murky, but more and more it seems like some sort of natural disaster that hits Financial Districts every once in a while and spreads outward like the shockwaves of an earthquake.

「Confidence （信用）」 (Shinyou)

Given the more passive episodes recently, the collapse of the Southeast Asian Financial District was quite an abrupt turn of events.

「Composition （組成）」 (Sosei)

This is what I would consider as more of a character reflection episode since nothing really “happened”. The first half was basically Mikuni narrating his past.

「Conflict （葛藤）」 (Kattou)

Kou Sennoza: smooth-talker, undefeated entre (almost), assets of 10 billion yen, and the prettiest pretty boy I’ve seen in a while.

「Cultivation （修練）」 (Shuuren)

The whole Financial District system is becoming clearer bit by bit, but I still can’t figure out what to make of the Guild exactly.

「Conversion （転換）」 (Tenkan)

Things get real for Kimimaro when he gets into a deal with his professor, who’s “just trying to make money for his family”. It’s even more clear now that these battles are pretty brutal, with the livelihoods of people at stake as they gamble fortunes.

「Conspiracy （陰謀）」 (Inbou)

There’s a good portion focused on the blonde haired American-Japanese entre, Jennifer Satou, of whom we only saw glimpses of last time.

「Coincidence （暗合）」 (Angou)

This is getting pretty interesting to say the least, as Masakaki whisks Kimimaro away to the center of the Financial District, a giant stock exchange in which entres (entrepreneurs) and their assets fight in “deals” for each other’s money.

「complication （複雑）」 (Fukuzatsu)

Money is power. Money is the root of all evil. That’s the theme in this supernatural finance series. At least, that’s the impression I got seeing a debt-ridden businessman making a deal with devil at a bank ATM, complete with an evil sounding machine voice and demonic taxi driver. I didn’t really know what exactly I was getting into before this episode, since the subject matter was unusual, but the potential is exciting.
