「色っぽい執事と仲良くお茶をしてしまった…」 (Iroppoi Shitsuji to Nakayoku Ocha o Shite Shimatta…)
“I Had a Friendly Tea Time With an Attractive Butler…”
Well, I wasn’t too sure if I made the right call giving Hamefura another season of tender loving blogging time – but damn did this week prove my shrewd (and totally not alcohol-influenced) decision-making correct. Bakarina is one lovable dork you can never get enough of, and that little fact was proven in spades once again.
Out of everything which happened during this arc arguably the biggest (and most counterintuitive) surprise is how things turned out. Yes, it was a given Katarina would be rescued and returned back into the arms of her harem safe and sound, but I don’t think many could’ve anticipated the manner of said developments. Well, mostly; I’m a little sad it never occurred to me that Katarina would find the ability to outright convert the latest antagonist in Rufus into a fellow afficionado of adorkable shenanigans given her previous exploits, but then again everyday is a new experience when you have this three–phase mind on the prowl. Sorry Rufus, no depressing backstory can compete with this creature.
And if that wasn’t enough either, lo and behold Geordo actually taking the initiative mere moments later. Yes, thine eyes do not deceive, those be locked lips in all their cliffhanger glory, and oh yes, it’s going to cause some major chaos (read: absolutely glorious comedy) in the very near future. Make no mistake, nothing will really come of this considering Geordo’s preexisting engagement to Katarina (thus permitting such actions), Katarina’s own brand of scatterbrained ignorance, and the whole harem setup, however it’s certainly gristle enough to sustain the drama mill for a good while. After all, if you ever wanted to see the lengths Mary and Keith would go to keep the Bakarina pure and wholesomely baka – not to mention Sophia’s own skill at Nicol matchmaking – now is the time. Plus if it helps distract from a lack of immediate answers concerning one particular maid’s actual identity and what happens to Gerald (since that was conspicuously not touched on at the end) all the better.
Hamefura X might already be a third of the way through, but you could say it’s only now getting started.
Defeating a kidnapper by unintentionally getting him to fall in love with you
Yeah, sure, why not
It’s Bakarina, if there’s a will there’s an aho way 😛
The maid’s identity? I mean, who have we met recently with black hair?
That’s just my guess anyway
Replay episode 1 near the end.
I’m probably guessing it’s her.
She said she wanted to try to hug Katarina.
Very likely, it was teased before so I don’t anticipate any real surprise, but there’s certainly plenty who likely missed it
One of the maid’s identities is most certainly Suzanna given she continued off from their previous conversation.
Yupp it’s what I suspect, but you never know until it’s properly revealed!
Damn, how oblivious can you get, Bakarina lol.
She was about to get kissed by Rufus seemingly without putting up a fight, only to be interrupted by the maid, but then the scene before the ED happened.
Watch next week to find out how she will manage to misunderstand this one. Not that I mind because KatarinaxGeordo worst pairing, do not want.
Katarina‘s obliviousness is practically her defense and offensive tactics. Literally it’s her diplomacy in god mode and there is no off switch.
The best part is she cannot possibly misconstrue what Geordo just did. The fun is going to be in how she rationalizes it as anything but the guy having a major infatuation with her XD
Not gonna lie, this episode made me want to go full throttle with a Rufus x Katarina subplot
To be fair Katarina sort of deserves an adventure abroad, keeping up with harem appearances has to get boring after a while!
What a great episode, Katarina‘s comical behavior binds the serious aspects of the show together well. Though I was surprised the hot butler didn’t get a good kiss with Katarina before being interrupted. Then I wasn’t surprised that Gerald actually kissed Katarina. (Actually I was like “Took you long enough—Baka!” that.)
Personally I thought Rufus’ hickey was much better than a kiss could’ve been, the best drama always comes from situations where the characters have to piece two and two together, and you get nothing better than a love bite the Bakarina blames on an intrusive insect XD
The bug chose a good location for the bite.
Just how many times does Bakarina have to seduce this character in Fortune Lover.
And I just love how thay say “A bug” at the same time.
and lol
😉
Bakarina… Bakarina never changes…
From making Rufus fall for her, to mistaking hickey for bugbite, to forcing Geordo to make his move… all without realising it.
And Geordo just lept ways ahead of other competitors. Knives out time… Shots were fired. War for Bakarina is ready to explode!

It was the last time I wanted to play a game on my Nintendo that I wanted to play a game on my PC instead. I was fortunate in that I discovered a chance to win a Nintendo Switch Lite for free on this website (you can read more about it on the official Drakemall official Drakemall blog). To make my dream come reality, I believe that this is an excellent method of doing so. I don’t have the funds to purchase a Nintendo at this time.
