Tales of Zestiria the X – 08
「霊峰レイフォルク」 (Reihou Reiforuku Rayfalke Spiritcrest)
“Rayfalke Spiritcrest”
Tales fans should be happy they’re getting one of the few genuinely good video game anime adaptations out there.

「LETTER 08」
After a few depressing episodes we get this upbeat and easygoing one, but it all feels like one big lie.
「それぞれの想い」 (Sorezore no Omoi)
“Their Respective Thoughts”
And now back to our regular scheduled programming…
「LETTER 07」
I can’t think of many anime that tackle suicide head-on quite like orange does.
「ベルベット・クラウ」 (Velvet Crowe)
“Velvet Crowe”
This works wells as an advertisement for the Tales of Berseria game, but as an episode of the Zestiria anime it ends up falling short.
「LETTER 06」
That was pretty exceptional – satisfying, irritating, joyful, emotional, and with a twist right at the end that changes everything.
「災厄のはじまり」 (Saiyaku no Hajimari)
“The Beginning of the Calamity”
And now for something different: Tales of Berseria.
「LETTER 05」
This episode of orange was easily the happiest one yet. I only teared up twice.
「導師のさだま」 (Doushi no Sadame )
“The Shepherd’s Destiny”
Zestiria is playing by the book, but it’s hard to knock a production this strong and appealing to the eye.
「LETTER 04」
There’s still eight more episodes of this? I’m already sweating from an overdose of emotions.
