Chihayafuru 2 – 14
(Mono Yaomofuto Hito no Tofumade)
“People Would Always Ask If I Was Pining for Someone”
Team matches certainly present an interesting litany of choices for a sports mangaka, don’t they?
Ayase Chihaya, Wataya Arata, Mashima Taichi
(Mono Yaomofuto Hito no Tofumade)
“People Would Always Ask If I Was Pining for Someone”
Team matches certainly present an interesting litany of choices for a sports mangaka, don’t they?
(Yume no Kayohiza Hitome Yokuramu)
“In My Dreams, I Creep Closer to You”
It’s hard to do a sports episode any better than that one.
(Misogizo Natsu no Shiru Shinarikeru)
“The Only Sign of Summer”
OK, I confess I’m starting to get a little worried.
(Sashi mo Shirajina mo Yuru Omohi o)
“I Feel As Though My Body is on Fire with Ibuki Mugwort”
Chihayafuru is definitely proving its versatility this season, but I wonder if it isn’t coming at just a bit of a cost.
(Murasame no)
“Rain Takes Longer to Dry”
Well, Team Chihayafuru managed to drag out the much-anticipated meeting at least one more week.
(Wata no Hara)
“My Only Thought”
To say that this episode was a long time coming may be an understatement, but it definitely proved worth the wait.
(Mikasa no Yama ni Ideshi Tsukikamo)
“Which Shines over Mount Mikasa”
Don’t worry, I’ll get to what happened at the end – just keep your shirts on for a minute…
(Shiru mo Shiranu mo Ōsaka no Seki)
“They All Exchange Hellos and Goodbyes at the Gates of Ōsaka”
Every time Taichi gets kicked in the gut, I have to fight the urge to double over myself.
(Tatsuta no Kahano ni Shikinarikeri)
“To Set the Tatsuta River Ablaze”
Every week is a reminder of just why I love Chihayafuru.
(Nao Amari Aru Mukashi Narikeri)
“Be As Dear Now, Those Were the Good Old Days”
“Every poem read sends you back a thousand years. How many sports are capable of such a feat?”
