Chihayafuru 2 – 04
(Hito ni wa Tsugeyo Ama no Tsuribune)
“To Tell the People in the Capitals That I Make for the Islands”
There’s no need to mince words – that was utterly fantastic. Chihayafuru firing on all cylinders.
Ayase Chihaya, Wataya Arata, Mashima Taichi
(Hito ni wa Tsugeyo Ama no Tsuribune)
“To Tell the People in the Capitals That I Make for the Islands”
There’s no need to mince words – that was utterly fantastic. Chihayafuru firing on all cylinders.
(Tsukubane no)
“Feel Love Deepen”
There are many anime of recent vintage that I love, but there’s nothing that feels quite like the experience of watching Chihayafuru.
“As My Love First Came”
Advice to young girls not so interested in Karuta – don’t ask Harada-sensei “What’s so fun about Karuta?”
(Hana no Iro wa)
“So The Flower Has Wilted”
You’d have to search long and hard for two words that would make me happier than these: “Chihayafuru’s back”.
(Moreizuru Tsuki no Kage no Sayakesa)
“Moonlight, Clear and Bright”
I don’t want it to be true, but it is – this is the last Taichi Tuesday. I’m grateful to have had the chance to watch such a superb, heartfelt and thoroughly wonderful anime as Chihayafuru.
(Onoe no Sakura Saki ni keri)
“Nobody Wishes to See the Beautiful Cherry Blossoms”
After bonding with Chihayafuru for six months, I really want a finale next week that focuses on Chihaya, Taichi, and Arata (and preferably includes Harada and the Chibis) and touches the heart in the way only this show has been able to do lately.
(Shiroki wo Mireba yo Zofuke ni Keru)
“The Night is Nearly Past”
Damn, this show is seriously going to be the end of me.
(Utsuri ni Kerinaita Durani)
“As My Beauty Has Faded”
Chihayafuru continues to surprise me, and this week was no exception. Life is a learning process, and it definitely looks like this adaptation is going to have a stop, rather than an ending.
(Waga Koromode ni Yuki wa Furitsutsu)
“While Snow Falls Upon My Sleeves”
OK – so what’s with Arata and the pink cell phone??
