The Daily Dose
Hey everyone, a lot of events that have occurred recently left Random Curiosity in a pinch, well kinda ^^’. Divine was a great asset but unfortunately he has left for personal reasons, leaving Omni to once again man the fort on his own. Over the past few months I’ve noticed that the Daily Dose hasn’t made much of a presence like it used to. It was a convenience since it supplied information that everyone looked forward to reading and I felt it made Random Curiosity unique in its own way. I’ve recently contacted Omni and offered my help by doing the Daily Doses in his place. I’m looking forward to working with all of you.

holy shit :O If it picks up where FMA left off, I’d love to see that. Although I’m not sure how they’d keep it going to be honest.

I think the other season will not pick up where it left off, it would probably follow the manga, im almost certain it will pick off from where Edward met greed, since that is where the anime begin to develop differently from the manga, and trust me the manga is better than the anime. Watch it!

An idea would be to do Saimoe ’08 updates (when you run out of stuff), maybe like major events. The quarter-finals have started and things are off to an explosive start.

@Nazarielle I´d like to see them remake the anime from the beginning though, and I hope they follow the manga´s story.
But anyway I glad they´ll make the 2nd season FMA is one of my fav anime.

Yeah the FMA OVA pretty much wrapped it up neatly so probably just a anime adaptation of the manga is what lies in store for FMA season two. Honestly id much rather prefer they go off manga over making a sequel.

You can catch the first episode and hopefully all the others over at http://www.hulu.com . Completely legit and subbed. Some other anime is there as well Bleach and Naruto being the main ones, but it’s season 1 stuff right now.

Maria Holic sounds interesting… FMA’s second season sounds great! (Ouran and Darker than Black’s second season any hope??? Well… At least, more chances than before)
Since my Japanese sucks hard, I wonder what Hetalia Axis Powers is about… From the name and characters’ uniform, is it referring to the Axis of Evil in the Second World War???…. Would be weird and kinda disturbing to see an light heart (and rather cute) anime adaptation….

Axis Powers Hetalia is actually a web comic that’s turned manga. It’s not just about WWII (although it does have strips on the topic): it has things like Sealand declaring independence, Bloody Sunday of 1905 (Russia’s history), etc. It’s actually a pretty fun, lighthearted (and sometimes serious) history manga. The countries that’re present in the manga have some sort of connection to the Allies or the Axis Powers (or both), but I don’t think they’re going to go that far in depth in the anime. :3 The voice acting cast is pretty great, though.

Finding news everyday can be somewhat difficult at times though, so I wouldn’t stress over the “daily” thing too much. Every other day, semi-weekly, or even weekly might work out better.

Ah yeah, and if anyone’s interested, I recently set an anime blog; and I’ll be covering Tytania, Kannagi, Kurozuka, Index, AkaneIro and Toradora.

Welcome Sixthdawn, and what a lot of news!
To those asking questions regarding Xam’d, I heard Ep14 won’t be out until the 11th November. No real source on that, if someone knows better I would like to know too, it’s one of favorite series atm.
As for FMA, that was so exciting when I heard that from the leaked document! Though I really would like to know their antics after the movie, I guess it would a manga adaption. Again with no real source on dates, but I heard that was tentatively put at April 09 season.

Could anyone tell me WHY Kazuya Kuroda is doing the chara design for the Higurashi OVAs? The chara design for Kai (by Kyuuta Sakai) was just fine. No need to change it again. Instead I’d have prefered Kuroda working on Spice and Wolf again.

hatsukoi limited must be blog when it comes out. it’s one of the best romance manga i’ve ever seen.
kiss x sis is a nice manga, however i’m a bit disappointed on the announcement about it going to dvd right away.
the short clips of haruhi and churuya is a nice sound to my ear however still waiting for 2nd season of the haruhi series.

No, this FMA will follow the manga instead of … being original.
Kiss X Sis a DVD series, not much of surprise considering how the manga is “they are going to do it! they are going to do it! NOT!!!!”.
I am surprised they are going to animate Hatsukoi Limited considering the manga was cancelled, I guess its not only Hollywood that is scrapping the bottom of the barrel.

To Drakron Hatsukoi Limited was never cancelled. It’s completed 32 chapters. You probably mistook with some other manga.

Hatsukoi Limited was canceled, just like Mx0 was canceled.
They never say “its canceled”, they simply inform the mangaka the serialization is going to end at a certain issue and for better or worst he have to come up with a ending (or not, see Mx0 very open ending) since after that issue there will be no more chapters being published by them.
I voice my surprise because its not Blue Drop, another series that was canceled after one volume but got animated but Blue Drop was a yuri series and so it filled a certain demographic niche as Hatsukoi Limited is really nothing special in terms of filling a demographic niche.
