「心乱れて szíbtép fájdalom」 (Kokoro Midarete)
“Disturbed Mind”
What better way to cure a disturbed mind than with some spiritual healing. In Misuzu’s case, the “spiritual” aspect covers you from head to toe and forces her to undress for a good part it. It’s a sweaty and tiring process it seems.
Thanks to the good folks over at 2chan, you can catch the animated version of Misuzu’s handy work here. I don’t think anybody really needed an animated version to point out the obvious connotation in that scene, but the producers added the black fog for good measure. It was basically a flag saying, “hey viewers, we’re censoring something here, so watch carefully.” As such, I can’t really blame Yuka for misunderstanding what was going down there. What surprised me though was the pacing of this episode. Kakeru was healed relatively early on, leaving the majority of it about Yuka fretting over Kakeru and Misuzu‘s relationship. Despite having all the characteristics of a harem anime, this adaptation hasn’t really given any indication that they were going to bring in relationship problems. That’s not to say I mind; it’s just that they were so focused on progressing the story that this was the last thing I was expecting after Kakeru awakened his Eye of Aeon. While unexpected, this turn of events did lead nicely into some shaky territory between Kakeru and Yuka (i.e. him refusing to kiss her), them getting separated in the Red Night, and the discovery of her beat-up Penzou-san bag. This would’ve been a good cliffhanger to leave things on too, had the preview not decided otherwise.
As for the Red Night, they’ve still yet to reveal anything more about it. Takahisa did fill in Misuzu and Yukiko on the barrier around Ayamegaoka that prevents them from leaving the city and escaping the Red Night, but the Black Knights themselves still refuse to divulge any information. Instead, Acedia makes mention of how humans can become surprisingly strong when upholding a sense of duty, suggesting that he’s much happier about Kakeru and the others not knowing. With regards to the Eye of Aeon, Misuzu and Yukiko discussed about how Velad, a former king that appears in Kakeru’s dreams, once possessed it. Yukiko adds that Velad was tricked by a witch (Lisette?), which led to the destruction of his country and him taking his own life. Other than that, Invidia continues to hold a grudge against Takahisa for scorching her face, whereas Kukuri was quick to take Acedia out with her “Abraxus” chain ability. A part of Acedia escapes before the rest of him goes up in a big puff of smoke though, so Kakeru and co. haven’t quite taken out half the Black Knights yet. Judging by the preview, it looks like things will pick up from the current Red Night as Kakeru frantically searches for Yuka. Having been kept in the dark so long, I hope they hint at some more possibilities as to what’s going on.
Preview
Kind of figured that someone was going to make a Gif of that scene. ^^;
What? No CG Dragon to replace the sex? I’m disappointed.
This isn’t following the original one bit lol <_< not even the characters’ personalities. Misuzu would’ve been embarrassed to death if she saw Kakeru with no clothes on.
I kind of like the fact that Yuka got rejected,because it sets it up for more stuff to come. It adds more depth rather than all the lovey-dovey stuff that Kakeru and Yuka do.
Just how long do they expect us to try to get a feel for this anime when we still don’t know what the hell the Red Night is all about. This is the half-way point in this right. It kinda reminds you of Chaos Head, making you wait to the last episode to tell you what the hell is going on. But the great part in this was Kakeru rejecting Yuka. They almost made me throw up in the first few episodes. Spoiling her would just end up killing everyone (stares at preview)
Yuka rejected omg.
Is Misuzu sucking Kakeru’s dick?

How in the world did Kakeru let a naked Misuzu walk away just like that? I am so clueless… Lol.
Double post
@Megas, don’t forget C;H had better animation.
@SnooSnoo
Yeah & the C;H cast wasn’t all monotones either. But the show would look a little better if it was in 720p, but the action scenes would still look like the characters were treading water…
Another epic fail in the title “Szíbtép fájdalom”… I mean, what the hell is Szíbtép?
I quess they wanted it to be “Szívtépő fájdalom” which means “Harrowing pain”
Why can’t they find a better dictionary already?
Back to the story, I thought that Kakeru can only think about Yuka, and now he’s rejected her, and flirting with Misuzu. Well, I don’t have complaints, becouse I like her better… and somehow Yuka has some yandere vibes.
ps. After seeing the power of abraxas, Kakeru still can’t figure out who is Kukuri?
Kakeru and Misuzu’s character designs are REALLY similar to Minato and Mitsuru’s from Persona 3….
@Fat Cat Lim dont remind me of that O_O”
is she laying on his crotch o.0

… and when i get this feeling, i need sexual healing…
AMV plx?
@Mii-kun
I found the whole anime to be like Persona 3. Group of teenage kids going into a different world, fighting monsters. Only happens at night. Main character has special power. Then again, I might be describing half the shounen animes out there…
Unless his penis is half a meter long it looks like she’s kneading his testes. That would explain the look of disbelief on his face.
Wow, so Takeru catches someone whose about to fall over from exhaustion, and this causes Yuka to run off in jealous anger? Considering the extraordinary amount of crap Takeru has gone through for Yuka’s sake you’d think she’d know better than to question his commitment to her (on top of “I’ll protect Yuka!” being his personal mantra for the entire series up until now). My opinion of Yuka has gone down because of this episode.
so much misunderstanding

The whole boy wants power to protect helpless clingly useless girl is so blah. I just don’t feel like I care for the characters at all because they’ve been devloped into one line simple characters. Hopefully they can add some more depth, but I doubt it.
To be fair, Kakeru said he didn’t want to kiss Yuka with “these feelings”. It sounded like he wanted to wait for their relationship to develop further before kissing her. On the flip side though, if he really likes Yuka, that was a good time to reassure her by showing it, but he chose not to. Talk about confusing the poor girl more.
@Linzermaster She isn’t a yandere, she’s a dorodere. (Luca of ArT2)
I wonder if the villain Invidia is a product placement for Nvidia
lol, she’s not a yandere, she just a hapless twit of a girl whose connected to another hapless twit of a girl (w/o giving too much of the story away – yeah, who cares :P) who just happens to be behind most of this junk – but they’re not following the original work at all so I don’t know WTH will happen. Can someone plz remind Kakeru that he jumped on Yuka for much less in his prior incarnation.
@Diggingtrash: ATI’s corporate color = red. Student uniforms = red. Coincidence? I THINK NOT.
@divine
Sorry to say but I hate characters like Yuka, and to make matters worse they’re going with her as the main girl, figures.
She only has herself to blame for being jealous and misunderstanding the situation. This would’ve been better if Misuzu was the main female imo. We need more strong females and less “moe”.
Wow i really hoping for a misuzu and kakeru pairing in the future 🙂
Wow, it was cool how Kukuri just made butter out of that totem dude.
lmao. Awesoem gif! I was wondering what she was doing down there! I’ve only seen the first episode, so I needa get onto watching this >.<
wena misuzu!
