「ちょっと怖い先輩」 (Chotto Kowai Senpai)
“The Senior Who’s Kind of Scary”

With everything from questioning about penis sizes to bringing out her big gun, Korone is quickly proving to be my favorite character to watch in this series. Hard to imagine that she can edge past the tsundere fundoshi-wearing Junko, but with the way she teases Akuto, I can’t get enough of our green-haired Liladan. It’s not everyday you’ll see a girl, android or not, tease a guy about wanting to touch her ass and saying it’s not illegal to do so. Watching Akuto get all riled up at the thought of that yet still pull Korone’s tail to turn her off made for some good laughs, while Keena’s obsession with rice was just… weird. Aside from those two, I was happy to see the formal introduction of student council president Lily Shiraishi (Hirohashi Ryou), vice pres Ootake Michie (Taketatsu Ayana), treasurer Kamiyama Kanna (Mizuhara Kaoru), and secretary Arnoul (Kotobuki Minako), who are comprised of two of the remaining three K-ON stars featured in this series.

The actual plot we had this time around was somewhat weak though, mainly because I didn’t buy how easily Junko sided with Akuto in his newly appointed disciplinary committee position after Keena simply told everyone that Junko secretly likes him. Don’t get me wrong, I love the whole flustered tsundere look as much as the next person, but Junko barely tried to convince the mob that this wasn’t merely a lover’s quarrel. As for Fujiko and her brother’s talking head (Toriumi Kousuke), I’d be lying to if I said I wasn’t disturbed with how she fawns over it in her underwear, though I’m not opposed to hearing Itou Shizuka make those orgasmic-like whimpers in the process. It’s even better when her drug backfires via Keena’s rice that Korone shot into the crowd, leaving her at the mercy of a bunch of horny girls. I mentioned before how I didn’t mind the censorship in this series and that scene reemphasized just why that is, as it basically covered next to nothing at all. (lol)

In addition to seeing Akuto’s demonic self continue to surface, it looks like we’ll be seeing more of Teruya Eiko next time around, who I’m rather looking forward to seeing because she’s played by Tomatsu Haruka. Interestingly enough, Haruka got cast over Satou Satomi who played Eiko in the drama CDs, thus breaking the five for five K-ON members we would’ve had here. Not that I mind or anything of course, as I’d take Haruka over Satomi any day of the week. Sorry Ritsu!

    1. I didn’t notice that until you guys pointed it out. That shot was so fast I didn’t have time to take in the finer details.

On the censorship in screen shot #38. I don’t see how the picture is covering anything at all. If anything they should have moved that censor to shot #15 when Keena flies out the window…

      1. I believe that one of the girls had her hand under the panty and is performing sexual foreplay which i believe would be censored out for suggestion of sexual activity or what not.

  1. “treasurer Kamiyama Kanna (Kamiyama Kanna)” – a sign that divine is getting tired?

“though I’m not opposed to hearing Itou Shizuka make those orgasmic-like whimpers in the process.” – yeah, just how you didn’t mind Kaede moaning in Kampfer’s last ep. =P

  2. to me the part between sai and junko, while not coming across clearly, was junko realizing she was not listening to sai at all during the misunderstandings that had happened before

  3. I was surprised how violent the scenes were. I’m not against it though because it does give an edge. The violence in the past 2 episodes were just funny so you wouldn’t take it seriously. This time it went up a notch and breaking bones is painful to watch. The rape and masturbation scenes were unexpected too.

  4. This episode surprised me a lot. It seemed like a generic comedy with laughs and I thought people would just lie on the floor dazed with weird expressions, after getting beaten up. But after seeing the blood and the violence, I went “HOLY SHIT! This is serious!”

  5. I agree with you questionmark, the moment Akuto started snapping their bones by just lifting his hand brought my thoughts to a halt. It was all fun and games and suddenly the guy isn’t as soft-hearted and really starts to resemble what is expected of a demon (an image of Lelouch popped in my head when i saw his calm face). It was rather quick that Junko switched sides but as was stated earlier, it was when she was in Akuto’s place that she realized how horrible she had been treating him.

This series just went from just something fun to watch to a must watch. Can’t wait for the next episode.

  6. This whole episode was totally weird and fell completely out of the line. Akuto’s sadistic violence against the mob, Junko’s sudden turn of sides at the end, Keena’s surprisingly sharp comments… I feel some inconsistency in their personality. Fortunately Korone stayed the same, while Fujiko still represents the sinful character. I wonder if that will change too 😛

  7. hmm this series seems pretty okay so far. I am guessing he transforms into something later on since he is the reincarnation of some demon. I feel sorry for the guy. Everyone is judging him in a negative light or trying to use him. The only friends he really has are the childhood red haired chick and the gay fanboy calling him brother. I wonder when the big bad will be some holy patriot doing anything to kill this kid just because of whats inside him.
