If there ever was an underrated character in this series, Shun would be it. Portrayed as the feminine male who can charm males and females alike, it was surprisingly shocking how that cute face can turn into a badass one when the time calls for it.

Unlike Chizuru, who expected Fuyuki to be a mini-Shun, I wasn’t too surprised to see that he was every bit the horny teenager that I expected him to be. That said, I can’t blame him for acting out — with two older sisters and a feminine older brother who doesn’t have experience or porn magazines; what’s a budding teenager supposed to do? Plus, it was a great bonus that he was voiced by the brutish sounding Okamoto Nobuhiko, who’s voice fit the role of the angry Fuyuki perfectly.

As much as it pains me to watch High School kids fail at fulfilling the “Ani” persona, it was fun to watch the antics that ensued from trying to meddle in someone else’s situations. Besides Chizuru somehow getting his own phone confiscated, did you see how those teachers were looking at Yuuki? It had danger written all over it!

Luckily, Shun saves our group of High School kids from looking like a bunch of babies. Pulling out his serious face, he makes good use of the small things that only he could notice. After leading Fuyuki to an answer to his relationship problems without giving it him outright, it makes me really wonder how different things would be if Shun acted that all the time.
