Episode 06 is the first AKB0048 episode I was truly drawn into, and not because of its usual pomp and flair. Following that up is a good dose of developments and revelations in episode 07. At this point, I have to say: I’m liking the direction the show is headed.

The reveal of the Tsuritama’s great mystery was rather underwhelming, but otherwise the show is on a roll as we enter the climax.
