Eureka Seven AO – 12
「ステップ・イントゥ・ア・ワールド/heaven and earth」 (Suteppu Intu A Wārudo)
“Step into a World”
Now that’s how you deliver a game-changer in spectacular fashion.

“Hive”
There weren’t too many surprises in the first episode of Koichoco, but there were at least enough twists to make the road seem like it might be an interesting one.
(Yousei-san no, Himitsu no Koujou)
“The Fairies’ Secret Factory”
It was smelling a little stale after the first batch of formulaic season premières, but Jinrui wa Suitai shimashita blew through the room like a breath of fresh – albeit very strange – air.
「プラトー・オブ・ミラー/mirror of the world」 (Puratō Obu Mirā)
“Plateaux of Mirror”
If you want intrigue and mystery, this episode of AO should be your one-stop shopping for the week.
“All Blues”
Whatever else you might think of the final episode – or of the eleven that preceded it – I think it’s hard to argue that Watanabe-sensei isn’t a directorial genius of the first order.
「リリース・ユア・セルフ/the pied piper of Hamelin」 (Rirīsu Yua Serufu)
“Release Yourself”
This episode was illustrative of why I think Ao works so well as a MC. He’s 12 – he’s scared, he’s reckless and he exercises poor judgment. But courage isn’t never being afraid – that’s stupidity – but in being afraid and doing what has to be done anyway.
(Refuto aroun)
“Left Alone”
Of all the episodes of Sakamichi so far, this one might be the most difficult to get a handle on.
“From Up on Poppy Hill”
One thing’s for sure – it can’t be easy being Miyazaki Gorou.
(In a sentementaru muudo)
“In A Sentimental Mood”
As many different styles, shapes and sizes as great anime come in, how alike they are is more striking than how different they are.
“In the Dark We Live”
The classic introduction of an anime villain is surely, “Hey – you’re that guy from the toilet!”
