I almost can’t wrap my head around Ohtsuka Akio, Inoue Kazuhiko and Miki Shinichirou all appearing in the same episode of the same series – it’s like my speakers were going to explode from the Godly glow.

Well, that was certainly an effective bit of misdirection.

It’s the little things that really make the difference with Mob Psycho 100.

I’ve noted it before, but the thing that really makes Reigen such a standout character is his paradoxical nature.

It goes without saying that Mob Psycho 100 is a series with tremendous tonal versatility, and we’ve seen a good chunk of that range in the first four eps of this season.

It’s in the fitting of these disparate elements together that both ONE and the anime team really display the full heights of their ability, and in their hands even a seemingly routine episode like this one becomes truly exceptional.
