「それぞれの存在!」 (Sorezore no Sonzai!)
“Each Other’s Existence!”
In these trying times where it’d be safer to be six-to-ten feet away from everyone around you, the new short anime the Eizouken is coming up with is a friendly reminder about the need to co-exist and be closer to one another through our connections that make our experiences on this Earth shared with a wide community. In this week’s Eizouken, the club is finally able to conceptualize the plot of their latest short as a kappa invasion that is only resolved through the power of unity. But before any of this can be set in stone, the girls have to seek out inspiration by their own accord.
One lesson that the Eizouken’s club supervisor gives the girls is to strike a balance between work and leisure. Although he comes off as aloof and uncaring in spite of his work schedule, what he’s saying helps to incorporate one such aspect of the creative process to unload any burdens you might have in order to prevent burnout.
Work and play are often at odds with each other because leisure can make a person feel dull and lazy. But if you’re unable to keep your mind off of the work that you have to do and have no way of letting off some steam, then you risk seizing at the first instance of adversity as time passes. Because a person is not a machine, there are mental blocks that can interfere with the creative process if you spend more time worrying about what ideas you have to put on the table rather than give yourself some time to breathe and find inspiration in your surroundings.
It’s this aspect of Asakusa that Kanamori can find admirable and enraging as she’s one of the first people to see how she operates. Whereas she’s taken aback when Asakusa is quick to pull out her sketchpad to draw a blueprint of what she’s seeing inside of a train, she also has no patience for any instance where it looks like Asakusa is trying to goof off. This instance of leisure does help Asakusa come up with the Kappa idea since it draws more into the town’s mythos around Kappa. But Kanamori’s constant efforts to hustle and her familiarity with Asakusa’s train of thought makes it difficult for her to be able to see the appeal in giving anyone a break when time is money.
At the same time, the significance of monetary gain is what constantly acts as a roadblock for the Eizouken as the resources pulled in attract more eyes towards their project in positive and negative ways. For instance, the Student Council has put forth measures only the Major could’ve come up with to prevent Kanamori from making money off of their anime and have the DVD Burning Club’s president expelled & tased to make an example of him.
Similarly, the number of resources pulled in through the Eizouken is not always reliable as their hard work and brain-storming that was put into the project were undercut when the music they received provided a jarring contrast between what’s on-screen and what’s in the music. It’ll be sad to give Eizouken its farewell soon as one of the only high-marks of the year 2020 so far, but it’ll be neat to see how the next episode dives into the significance of music in anime.

I find it hard to believe that they didn’t listen to the music until the last second like that. Unless they just got it right then wouldn’t someone want to listen to it as soon as they could? Anyways sounds like they got duped?
They had a Demo for working, they assumed the finale would be something similar. But, seems like it is totally different
It is unusual since I would’ve figured they would have vetted the music that was given to them when they were cutting them into the sound mixing. Gives the last leg of the anime some tension, but it does feel like something that would’ve been ironed out earlier in the process.
loved how the SFX girl jumped to any occassion to hunt for sounds… including when security club tased the DVD burning guys!
It was a funny touch that Doumeki wanted to record the sounds of the Security Club’s attack.
Perhaps they could ask the School Music Club. Perhaps they can replay some music they need in a hurry.

Okay, now i am puzzled. Someone knows the point of this “neue, Deutsche, Härte”
New German toughness/hardship/hardness
I do not get the point
Kanamori sick! This is unheard of
that refers to German hard rock
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Neue_Deutsche_H%C3%A4rte
It even has it’s own wiki entry.
Ahhh…
Thanks a lot guys
Rammstein…. But i wonder if these Neue Deutsche Härte can help out with the Music track.. It could fit for the Fight, but then for the peace things its to hard
Also, do not these Kappas need Water to breath or the Humans air to breath like they show it inside their Ufo or Submarine?
But then, the dancing sequence are made in Air aka Human World. So how these Kappas can dance without their Water helm? 🙂
it is not just a circle draw on their heads. it is also their breathing surrounding that bits them now, too
But this Logic Hole is okay
