Arakawa Under the Bridge – 01
「1 BRIDGE」
The one series I was worried about due to SHAFT studio and director Shinbou Akiyuki‘s involvement turned out much better than I expected in its premiere episode.

(Wagunaria he Youkoso♪ Takanashi, Hataraku.)
“Welcome to Wagnaria♪. Takanashi, Work.”
Clean slice-of-life comedic fun with an all-star casts comes our way from a family restaurant of all places! Given how a lot of anime these days are high school-based, it never hurts to change up the scenery at the very least, which is what we have with WORKING.
「#01」
Yes, the soccer anime is here! I never thought I’d be saying that until a week ago when I was writing up the Spring 2010 Preview and stumbled on this little gem.
(Sekka no Miyako)
“Sekka Capital”
Being based on a female romance adventure game, Hakuouki is one of the series I knew the least about coming into its premiere episode, but may just prove to be a dark horse this season.
(Fushi no Gundan)
“Immortal Army”
We have a new opening and ending this week to coincide with the final stretch of the series and they’re pretty good ones too!
(Aozora ga Kakitai)
“I Want to Draw the Blue Sky”
The GA Geijutsuka Art Design Class OVA is out! I wasn’t planning to post about this, but I love this quirky art school-themed series and wanted to share some thoughts since I didn’t cover the TV series last year.
(Maou ga Tanjou Shichatta!)
“A Demon King is Born!”
Ecchi high school comedy with a magical twist makes its way into the lineup this season with “The Farthest Back Demon King”.
「Departure」
The premiere of Key writer/composer Maeda Jun and P.A. Works‘ new original project is here!
(Booi Miitsu Gaaru. Anata no ‘Hajimete’ Watashi ni Choudai!!)
“Boy♂Meets♀Girl. Please Give Me Your ‘First Time’!!”
I was expecting some good, humorous, sexual contexts in this anime adaptation and Hal Film Maker delivered just that.
(Misa-chan wa Meido-sama!)
“Misa is a Maid!”
A tsundere high school maid played by Fujimura Ayumi? Now we’re talking.
