A More Mature Kanon, & She’s Naked!
There’s nothing wrong with a little interrupted bathing, but when it leads to fun blushy times with Yukina-chan then I’m even more in favor! Yes, her covering her breasts was quite a sight to behold, but you gotta love her fidgeting while wearing Akatsuki’s jacket. There’s just something about women wearing your clothes, am I right guys? At least until they don’t give it back and you’re out like three of your best shirts and then you two break up and you’re pretty sure she’ll let her next boyfriend wear it the first night they get together and not that I’m bitter!! Erh–what was I talking about? Right, Yukina-chan is hawt.
Princess of Aldegyr
Absolutely no one should be surprised that the mysterious beauty ended up being La Folia Rihavein (Oonishi Saori), princess of Aldegyr, though perhaps some of you were surprised by Kanon being her imout–erh, aunt. Obligitory Usagi Drop comments aside, I’m too used to princesses popping up all over the place in fiction, so no surprise here. To me it’s kind of like the whole vampire thing itself – fine when it’s done well, but it doesn’t light my skirt on fire by itself. I did like Folirin though, if only for trying to give herself that nickname. And I guess for trying to protect the young aunt she never knew she had until recently. That’s pretty nice of her too.
Angel Weapon
I’m skeptical about using an artificial angel as a weapon. Sure it looks like they do plenty of damage, but are they going to have to make them fight and kill multiple opponents in the middle of a city each time they want to create a new one? Seems difficult, especially when it’s all kind of illegal and obvious. I don’t care how in trouble your company is, don’t start turning innocent schoolgirls into angel weapons. It’s kind of a dick move.
Killing Kojou
Kojou is an immortal vampire, and the main character to boot, so while I was surprised the first time he lost his head this one lacked punch. They’re going to have to do some pretty hefty convincing to make me believe he’s done for this time, though Kanon’s ridiculous power – and how she’s apparently not on this plane of existence anymore, which is totally hax – go a long way. I can’t help but think he’s going to get up and suck another girl’s blood this time too, not the least because Kanon appears to have gone catatonic over (maybe) killing someone who was kind to her.
Looking Ahead – Saving Kanon, I Hope
Strike the Blood’s arcs are nothing if not predictable in length, so this one should be finished off next week. I’m hoping Kanon gets saved rather than ascending to a higher plane of existence, because I haven’t gotten nearly enough Itou Kanae yet! Also I look forward to the boys at school having another reason to curse Kojou. Die bastard!

- A crazy and murderous Arai Satomi is nice too.

I’m just filling in for him now because he has exams or a marriage or a kidney stone, I don’t know, I don’t really pay attention to him. I just know you all should give him a hard time when he reappears for inflicting me on you. Take that!

I was expecting Kanase and La Folia to be sisters. Not for her to be her aunt but hey thats just me lol
LN elaborations I found:
1)Running gag that Lowe the demon-morph pilot is always called ossan, despite being 28.
(ed. if he’s an ossan by Kojou’s standards, then Dr Kanase must be positively ancient!)
2)The LN angel’s mask is metal, with countless creepy eyes engraved on its surface. Angel Kanon has sharp shark-like teeth, and the LN illustration depicts visible blood veins on her wings.

I’m pretty sure even Touma doesn’t get one-shotted this many times.
Akatsuki may be more unfortunate than Touma on that front but he gets the better girls so it balances out 😛
I think Kanzaki and Misaka are comparable to Kujou’s harem. Though probably not the nuns.
Oh right.Misaka aside,I forgot about Kanzaki.Kujou still gets to enjoy his harem’s company more though.

Natsuki is one of the most powerful person in the series (of course not as crazily powerful as primogenitor vampires), just wait for her arc…
Her arc? When would that be? could you give some nice hints on what her arc will be?
Is Natsuki powerful enough to defeat Kojou?
well, Kojo lacks both the will and the experience to fight, plus he only have a few of the familiars at his disposal right now, so as far as vol.3 (the current arc), Natuski will for sure be stronger than Kojo.
As to Natsuki’s arc, well, I guess you can call it her arc depending on how you see it. All I can say is if there is no filler material, then Natsuki will play a major role in the next arc after the finale of next week. Hint: you will see why this legal loli is legal.
How does (nearly) everyone seem to know Kojou’s 4th Progenitor secret anyway?

It seems Beatrice is in charge over Dr Kanase and his experiments, judging from their conversation.
Because sucks big at covering his identidy, he has make so much ruckus in the half year he´s been a Progenitor that it´s miracle the entire planet doesn´t know he´s the strongest vampire in the world. Also, is a given his kindred Progenitors know who he is from the start, those guys aren´t dumb.
well, Kojo got one shot again, but really this time he is in a distinctive disadvantage… primogenitor has the curse of immortality (in the LN it is called infinite minus life), while angel (even fake angel) has holy powers, basically holy power is super effective against those curses… also vampires are innately weak, only because they have super strong familiars, they are recognized as the strongest demon race. If you can seal the familiars (there are many ways), vampires are nothing but experience points lol… Kojo only have 2 familiars right now (out of a total of 12), so he is rather rookie. Also he is holding back right now since he doesn’t want to hurt Kanon anyway. Can’t wait to see the finale of the arc!

as to the fake holy sword, their mothership supply holy power from its main engine that emulate the real holy sword… anything more than that is currently a spoiler, so I will wait till next week or later to talk about it 🙂

I wonder, with all the ToAru vibes that this show is giving off, if Kanon were to take on ToAru’s Hyouka (artificial angel, assuming its post WW3) , who would win? Also, at the very least Kojou’s harem isn’t made up of largely lolis (unlike a certain misfortunate hero)

I just finished marathoning the 11 eps and as already said by Zephyr earlier, this is really a solid series. Animation is consistent enough and I like how they devided it in small 3-4 eps arcs. This is the better Taneda Risa show of the season. I don’t like the character she voices in KnK.

The princess is one of the rare characters I’ve seen that doesn’t lash out at the MC for peeping at her when she’s bathing. La Folia ftw!! The preview is kinda spoiler though, Kojou’s still alive in the preview and preparing to use his Regulus Aurum…….wish Yukina could see the preview and not go “senpai!! senpai!!” when he ‘died’
La Folia is devious and totally fit for a cool princess… maybe you won’t see it in this arc, but mark my word, she is not just your typical hawt nice princess haha

Wow, this episode really remind me a lot of ToAru’s Angel Fall arc. And Kojou really becoming like Touma in many ways. I beginning to wonder if the author is a fan of ToAru. Maybe we will see soon Stb equivalent of God’s Right Seat (maybe other primogenitors).
But anyway, La Folia seems a very interesting character and quite shocked that Kanase is her aunt. Maybe next week we can see 2 additional girls included in Kojou’s harem officially ?
