-Everyone leaves for home now that Summer School is over. The only remaining girls are Tamao, Nagisa, Shizuma, and Miyuki. Tamao was planning on going home too, but is staying because of Nagisa – Tamao’s suspicious of Shizuma and even Miyuki. Those suspicions are alleviated when Miyuki and Shizuma ask Nagisa to do some special studying with them, specifically in French. Tamao decides to go home and let Nagisa study here, but she first leaves her red ribbon tied on Nagisa’s arm as a good luck charm.
-Nagisa gets frustrated easily studying French, but Miyuki is quite stern with her. Miyuki stresses that she and Shizuma are graduating soon and that Nagisa only has three more years.
-During a break, Nagisa runs into Amane and starts chatting with her. Amane thinks that Miyuki’s earlier anger was because Miyuki is fated to marry right after she graduates. Amane comments that Nagisa is strange because she’s the only Miator student who’s not like a caged bird.
-Shizuma catches Amane leaning over Nagisa right after Nagisa took a fall. Shizuma makes it clear to Amane that Amane should choose a princess from Spica. Amane thinks of herself also as a caged bird.
-After finishing the day of intense studying, Shizuma invites Nagisa out to the festival. Or rather, they can only go as far as the gate and watch the fireworks from a distance.
-Shizuma agrees with Amane’s assessment that they’re like caged birds, watching the fireworks on the outside. Nagisa thinks that it’s happier like this than watching them alone. She admits how lonely she was during Summer School, and Shizuma says that she was lonely too. Offering to teach her why she had those feelings, Shizuma takes Nagisa’s hand and the two twirl around by the pool.
-Shizuma notices that Nagisa is wearing the good luck charm Tamao gave her, so Shizuma tries to take it off. In resisting, Nagisa accidentally tumbles backwards into the pool and Shizuma falls in with her.
-In the water, Shizuma leans in and kisses Nagisa. The red string around Nagisa’s hand unfurls and drifts away.
-The two return to Shizuma’s rooms and take separate showers. Nagisa is ready to leave afterwards, but Shizuma comes on strong again. She knows that earlier was Nagisa’s first kiss, though she admits that it was not her own first.
-In trying to resist Shizuma, Nagisa falls on the bed and Shizuma pins her down. Shizuma fondles Nagisa’s breast and then starts taking off Nagisa’s gown. However, Shizuma suddenly gets a flashback of a previous girl calling out her name. Shizuma freezes what she’s doing and cries a tear. Nagisa uses this chance to get away. Miyuki sees her leaving and realizes that Shizuma must have done something.
-The next day, Tamao returns after having only been away for one day. She notices that the good luck charm is gone from Nagisa’s wrist. Nagisa looks so sad from having lost it that Tamao hugs her.
The soft-core lesbian porn is back! And we didn’t even need to have Kaname or Momomi for it…
Shizuma and Nagisa finally get their kiss, along with plenty of steamy moments. Shizuma just couldn’t follow through with her sexual desires though (I’ll shy away from calling her impotent lol). Of course that girl in the flashback has something to do with it. She’s probably the most important of all of Shizuma’s previous flings, perhaps the girl who made Shizuma into who she is now. And that who-she-is-now apparently includes a lot of jealousy, from Shizuma’s confrontation with Amane to Shizuma trying to take off the ribbon/good luck charm that Tamao gave Nagisa.
I had a good chuckle when Amane mentioned that Miyuki was set to get married right after graduation. It was mainly because they portray men as this dark, evil force ready to take away the girls. So much so that the girls have no choice but to turn to each other for true love lol.
And I spoke too soon about Kaname and Momomi because next week will feature their return along with the focus back on HikariXAmane.
