Popular voice actress Horie Yui‘s newest single Days / Say cheese! placed eighth on last week’s Oricon chart, and, as I mentioned last week, she made an appearance on the HEY!HEY!HEY! MUSIC CHAMP program that aired today. Overall, it wasn’t quite as cool as Hirano Aya’s appearance last year, but I laughed through the entire thing. The hosts, comedy duo Matsumoto Hitoshi and Hamada Masatoshi, made the entire thing hilarious because of how they pointed out all the glasses wearing fans in the audience and how they reacted to Hocchan (as she’s known as) saying she was 17 years old (à la famous seiyuu Inoue Kikuko). She also got the duo to participate in the dialogue that she commonly does with her audience during lives and events where they have her spin around and call her cute and stuff. Anyway, it’s a fun watch that’s is all over YouTube now, so it’s worth the few minutes if you enjoy her work.
YES Yui Horie!!! She’s been probably my favorite seiyu since Love Hina way back so I’ve definitely got to check this out. o.O

Horie Yui~!! Dam, after watching that audience and Horie Yui interaction scene, it makes it seem like their her cult lol. I wonder if a lot of seiyuus have these traditional things they do with fans.

you remember that scene in densha otoko where they went to the seiyuu/idol event, and that otaku dude was staring at the picture of miina the whole time… yea, horie yui is getting really close to that. see, with hirano aya, her real life cuteness is comparable to her anime roles… with horie yui… she’s not that bad looking but the cuteness gap with her anime characters is just astronomical. at least she’s not as hopeless as kawasumi ayako… godly voice but pedestrian look :\

there is one thing about horie yui’s looks that stands out. her smile .she looks like she enjoys what she is doing.since I enjoy her performances I am glad she looks happy while doing them.as for looks so what.as for your looks , my looks or anybody’s looks they are what they are and it is who we are and what we are about that really counts.
She’s my favorite VA along with Aya-chan. And it’s not just because she plays many of my favorite anime characters (Shirakawa Kotori, Narusegawa Naru, etc.). =3
She looks very young for her age.
