The humor in this series hasn’t been nearly as hilarious as Mitsudomoe, but I still find it amusing on an unassuming level thanks to Shino and Aria’s perverted minds. Part of the appeal is that I could picture a lot of these jokes happening in real life, though one would hope that they’d be followed by an air of sarcasm to break the ice shortly afterward. Here, Takatoshi doesn’t have the luxury of giving the prez and secretary the benefit of the doubt unfortunately, since their minds really are that ridden with dirty thoughts. Normally you would expect a “just kidding” line to follow a lot of the things they say, but when they’re just blushing and smiling after implying that Takatoshi likes playing with balls before the scene ends with a stamp of approval, I can’t help but be amused by how blunt and earnest they are. Unrelenting would probably be another good way to describe their endless remarks, as they don’t have to be perverted in nature at times to make me laugh.
For no particular reason at all, I was pretty amused by Shino’s quick conclusion that Takatoshi was going to get married to Mitsuba Mutsumi (Omigawa Chiaki) following her fake-out confession. As such, I’m inclined to say that it’s the completely straight face she has when she says a lot of things impulsively that works for me, even when she’s asking if Takatoshi’s a sadist or a masochist. Again, it’s not the laugh until you cry type of gags, but the surprise Shino leaves me with every time she speaks her mind. She basically has a sexual take on almost every situation too, and doesn’t seem aware what she’s implying at times even when she talks about herself. Naturally, none of this would work without a diligent guy like Takatoshi to be the recipient of the jokes on our behalf; however, it’s funny how he’s been caught up in their drift now that he’s been at Ousai Academy for a month. His stark realization that he might be a bit of a masochist was one indication of that, whereas not being fazed by their 25 year-old teacher and student council advisor’s ephebophilia was another. Yokoshima Naruko (Kobayashi Yuu) is already proving to be a nice addition to the cast, since she made an awesome Great Teacher Onizuka-like reference.
The clean jokes revolving around Aria’s lunch boxes containing steak and crawfish leftovers were a nice change of pace, but I like how that didn’t stop Shino from countering with ones about unprotected sex to increase birthrates and masturbation either. I can’t speak for everyone, but I was amused by both sides of the coin, with the latter’s fixation on Aria’s breasts and fantasies about bondage adding to the perverted side of things. More than anything, I guess it’s the fact that Shino’s good in everything from her studies to housework, yet has no shame whatsoever that makes her a lot of fun to watch. Next episode has her and Aria away on a school trip, which I’m quite interested in seeing how well the humor goes without Takatoshi and Suzu around. It looks like it’s going to be a hot spring episode of sorts, which already has me imagining all the lesbianism that will take place.

Holy crap, this show is hilarious. And I love Omigawa Chiaki’s voice.
Suzu’s character is too funny. I love Sayuri’s acting for her. I’d lose my voice from all that screaming. D:
It’s been alright so far. I dunno, I’m still banking on Mitsudomoe being the funniest show of the season (little girls + slapstick is a powerful combo!). Seitokai has an ecchi side too though.
It’s funnier the second time you watch it! xD I can’t believe this show covered half my High School jokes in like, 5 minutes. Hilarity knows no bounds~ Can’t wait for next week. This show makes everything good again for me.

A lobster is still a crawfish. I just didn’t know which variation it was so I decided to be less specific. It kind of looks like a spiny lobster though, since it has no claws.
i like this show a lot better than most of the slice of life series probably because it based on a series of 4 panel comics

This isn’t as funny as Mitsudomoe by a long shot, but it’s still a little entertaining.
The teacher slurping away was funny and Shino’s imagination of Takatoshi talking about how he would be scared when he hears footsteps when masterbating made me laugh, especially when it was shown to be all her imagination
That teacher is awesome lol. My favorite one is still Kuroi sensei from Lucky Star…hehe
Kobayashi Yuu once again reveals herself to be an absolutely crazy woman. XD
Just watch how crazy she was in Nyan Koi to see what I mean by that.
These are really some dirty minded girls. I wouldn’t be surprised if the other girls are just as dirty. Perhaps it has something to do with years of absence of men.

A middling episode. No ROFL moments, but slightly amusing scenes. The off-color jokes are still very hit and miss. Will give it another couple more episodes before deciding whether to continue or drop it.
The teacher licking her mouth, and Shino imagining what Takatoshi would be scared of if he heard footsteps was indeed the highlights of this episode.
This show might not be comedy gold all the time, but damnit IT HAS IT’S MOMENTS.
I love that they go all out with the gags. Not a lot of series do.
