Fate/stay night Unlimited Blade Works – 17
(Anken, Kiba o Muku)
“The Dark Sword Bares Its Fangs”
The single most consistent thing between all Fate/stay night adaptations is that Rin’s German is awful.

(Kesshousen Shiai Kaishi (Fainaru Tippuofu) !!)
“Start of the Finals (Final Tipoff)!!”
Jumping back to the present, the show didn’t hesitate to throw us straight into the action — something that I really appreciate after spending quite some time diving into the psychological side of things during the Teiko arc.
(Sapuraizu Atakku)
“Surprise Attack”
It’s time for battle practice with the old guard! …next week. We’re ramping up to it this time, with some tantalizing teases of what’s to come. Also, it’s the onsen episode.
(Gekkou)
“Rage”
There is no rest for the weary against the Gauna.
(Uchi no Kareshi)
“My Boyfriend”
Lucky Abrams has nothing on Gouda Takeo…
(Watashi wo Ryokan ni Tsuretette (#12.5))
“Take Me To The Ryokan”
Finally a reference that I actually caught that could kind of considered to be obscure. Sort of.
(Utau yo Sorufeju )
“Singing Solfège”
You could say this was the slowest episode so far, and I wouldn’t disagree. But it was also the best episode so far.
(Ukeru? Soretomo Ukenai?)
“Will You Accept? Or Won’t You?”
Shiraishi likes Yamada, and Yamada likes Microwaves.
(Ensei no Gunshi)
“The World-Weary Strategist”
Narsus may know the minds of men, but it’s Arslan who knows their hearts.
(Amenimo Makezu)
“Rain or Shine”
I wouldn’t mind more episodes like this — a combination of a bunch of quirky but cute things that culminate into something that’s just too damn entertaining.
