「名誉に値段はつけられない, ビクトリア島緊急追撃戦 III」 (Meiyo ni Nedan wa Tsukerarenai, Bikutoriatou Kinkyuu Tsuigekisen III)
“You Can’t Put a Price on Honor, The Critical Running Battle on Victoria Island III”

Everyone in this series is a liar — and it’s your job to figure out who’s who and what’s what.

A Quick and Decisive Battle

It’s been said over and over, but it’s almost too funny to think about just how thick Qwenthur’s plot armor is. Because when you’re shielded by one of the strongest materials known, anime or not, what’s stopping you from doing some irrational and at times stupid things? Seeing how Qwenthur and Havia could be considered Object slayers at this point, it makes you wonder how successful the pair would be if they didn’t literally didn’t cut things so close. How often has it been that they’ve found some flaw or secret by just being in the right place at the right time?

Little plot gripes aside, I’ll admit the battle was a lot more fun to watch than I expected. Seeing third rate objects blow up their own infantry and then simultaneously disintegrate was strangely satisfying. Toss in how Prizewell City Slicker and his beloved Indigo Plasma was ironically blown up with his own plasma gas and it felt like the perfect ending to what I originally thought was going to be a huge loss for Team Qwenthur.

Neko Eared War Maids

While there isn’t really all that much to say about the amazing maids that came at just the right time, who would have thought that they’d actually be a part of the Intelligence Union? And subordinates of Ohhoho none the less! Something that caught me a little off guard, but had me smiling when I thought about the implications of her showing back up at a time like this.

Looking Ahead

With a majority of the episode spent closing up the stupid mini war that Prizewell City Slicker incited, I can’t wait to see where this next arc takes us. Focusing specifically on Team Qwenthur instead of some country or unknown figure, I’m really hoping for some exciting moments in the upcoming works. And as a part of those exciting moments, we better see some more Ohhoho and her amazing laugh. That or our precious princess gets some more lines out of Baby Magnum — either works!

In any case I’ll catch you guys next week — see you!

      1. I know he does, but we hardly ever saw her outside of that one episode, but otherwise, Havia hasn’t had any women actually fawning over him at all (or even showing much interest) despite contributing just as much if not more than Qwenthur at times. Heck, some of the times Qwenthur succeeds (and/or doesn’t die) is directly because of Havia’s actions.

  1. The funny thing: Sato Rina (who voices Oh-Ho-Ho’s commanding officer) and Satomi Arai (who voices Merc Meido) are Misaka Mikoto and Shirai Kuroko in Index/Railgun-verse respectively; the lolis are now busty women. XD
