Gojo’s defiance, even in the face of imminent capture, is emblematic of his unwavering resolve. It’s a moment that underscores his character’s depth and complexity, leaving us in awe of his sheer presence.

However, what unfolds next takes an unexpected turn. Geto, the real one, comes to the forefront, his very hand seemingly possessed by a malevolent force that begins to strangle him(himself). In a moment that was masterfully executed I must add. The twist is not lost on the imposter, the enigmatic “Pseudo-Geto,” who watches in a strange mix of surprise and dark amusement. This eerie moment hints at the intricacies of their shared history and the unsettling dynamic between these two characters.

The closing of the Prison Realm’s ominous gates seals Gojo’s fate, leaving us with an eerie sense of foreboding. As the veil of uncertainty shrouds Gojo, the story takes us to different corners of this nightmarish Shibuya.

Mechamaru, always the strategist, reveals a startling truth to Yuji and Mei Mei. He unveils his ingenious plan—a couple of puppet failsafe created in the event of his own demise and Gojo’s imprisonment. It’s a testament to the meticulous preparation that some sorcerers undertake, highlighting the depths of their dedication and foresight.

While Mei Mei and her brother Ui Ui remain in the perilous subway, facing off against several special-grade cursed spirits, Yuji races to the surface, a messenger of dire news. His urgent mission—to inform his fellow sorcerers of Gojo’s harrowing predicament—takes center stage. The stakes couldn’t be higher, as the fate of one of their most formidable allies hangs in the balance. As he continues onward – he fights curses in an incredible show of martial arts and animation combined. Never has Yuji been more limber, this was one for the books!

The narrative branches further as other teams venture deeper into the ominous veil. Here, we’re introduced to the nefarious curse user, Haruta Shigemo (Hatano, Wataru), who sets his sights on the unsuspecting Kiyotaka Ijichi. Yuji’s voice cuts through the tension like a clarion call, reaching the ears of Kento Nanami and the other teams. The urgency of his message reverberates through the city, leaving no room for doubt—the very foundations of their world are shifting.

As we switch gears to the Prison Realm itself, a sudden jolt rocks the entire structure, causing it to plummet to the ground. Gojo’s interference within the realm sends shockwaves through the narrative, further complicating an already convoluted situation. Meanwhile, Geto’s group makes a startling discovery—Mechamaru’s spying puppets, adding another layer of intrigue to the unfolding events.

The episode’s latter half delves into the motives and desires of the curses. A heated argument ensues over Yuji’s fate, with Choso and Mahito advocating for his demise, while Jogo remains steadfast in his belief to resurrect Sukuna. This internal strife among the curses adds depth to their characters, showcasing their individual motivations and desires.

With tensions mounting, Mahito suggests a twisted race—each curse vying to be the first to find and claim Yuji. It’s a chaotic and suspenseful turn of events that sets the stage for what promises to be a thrilling showdown in the episodes to come.

Amidst the chaos, the Hasaba sisters confront Pseudo-Geto about the unsettling prospect of giving Geto his body back. Their heated exchange hints at the intricate web of allegiances and betrayals that underpin the story’s darker elements. The lines between friend and foe blur, leaving us constantly guessing who can be trusted.
