Golden Kamuy 3rd Season – 08
(Hitokiri)
“Manslayer”
It’s rare to see a series that’s already this good improve this much, but the result is always glorious when it does.

(Noatikku Goujiken Daiichimaku / Noatikku Goujiken Dainimaku)
“The ‘Noahtic’ Act 1 / The ‘Noahtic’ Act 2”
This will only work if Sherlock is Moriarty’s equal – just as the Doyle novels worked because Moriarty was Holmes’.
(Meko Oyashi)
“Meko Oyashi”
Golden Kamuy has really upped its game this season.
(Aku chou)
“Bad Sign”
In a cast full of badasses, hardasses, psychotics and stone-cold men, Ogata is without a shadow of a doubt one of the scariest.
(Hashi no Ue no Odoriko)
“The Dancer on the Bridge”
For me, Holmes and Watson can’t arrive too soon.
(Kokkyou)
“Border”
Any show that can be this brilliant in successive weeks with such spectacularly different material deserves that little bit of extra recognition.
(Kishoona Tane)
“A Rare Breed”
I certainly won’t dispute that there are and were plenty of evil aristocrats, but revenge killing viscounts and earls isn’t really a political act.
(Fujimi no Sugimoto harakirishou)
“Immortal Sugimoto Harakiri Show”
Among the many labels I could affix to Noda Satoru and Golden Kamuy, “shameless” would certainly be one.
(Hiiro no Hitomi Dainimaku)
“The Scarlet Eyes, Act 2”
There’s a certain irony in the fact that this all starts with an act of noblesse oblige.
(Igogusa)
“Igogusa”
One really does get the sense that Noda has a dossier of these richly detailed backstories for everyone in the series, and can dust one off whenever he feels like it.
