Shokugeki no Souma – 24 (END)
「戦士たちの宴」 (Senshi-tachi no Utage)
“The Banquet of Warriors”
Love it or hate it, Shokugeki no Souma ends off smack in the middle of the Autumn Elections… but it’s not necessarily a cliffhanger.

Insert obligatory boner joke here. |
I find myself terribly conflicted about this series. I think I enjoyed it … but then why did I always have to force myself to watch the next episode? It could be that I liked the idea of Overlord more than the reality of it. For all its strengths and interesting ideas, there was always one thing missing: It wasn’t compelling.

Just a day in the life of a romcom protagonist. |
Between Ore Monogatari, WORKING!!!, Akagami no Shirayukihime and more, fans of romance (and romantic comedies) have had a good run as of late. But if you didn’t watch Jitsu wa Watashi wa, you may be missing out on a little gem in its own right.
「汗血公路」 (Kanketsukouro)
“The Highway of Blood and Sweat”
The Heroic Legend of Arslan ends with the romcom mid-campaign epilogue of Arslan. Final impressions included.
「ODDS AND ENDS」
An end that is not an end. A diamond in the rough that turned out to be a disappointment.

Need more excitement in your story? Set someone on fire. |
In fact, some anime have to take pills to enlarge their plots.

The hero we don’t deserve. |
GATCHAMAN Crowds Insight may be the smartest stupid anime this season. For the first half of the season I thought it was bonkers, though I didn’t hate it—until I realized that the themes it was playing with are vital to our modern world. Watching it may make you a more moral human being.
「世界の片隅で君の名を」 (Sekai no Katasumi de Kimi no na o)
“Calling Your Name From a Corner of the World”
I think you and I are destined to do this forever. Drei confirmed.
「史上最大のプレゼン」 (Shijō Saidai no Purezen)
“The Greatest Presentation in History”
This finale leaves little doubt that Classroom Crisis is certainly worth all your investment, and more.
