After an unexpectedly decently “good” episode of Sailor Moon Crystal last week, I couldn’t wait to see what the second episode had in store for us.

How could I miss another season of Sailor Moon Crystal? And I don’t mean that sarcastically either. Sailor Moon Crystal has come back new and improved and dare I say, I’m excited for this new arc.

I’ve been waiting and waiting for this day for so long. I have some long Final Impressions here…

I keep saying this every post but oh my gosh, Sailor Moon Crystal is nearly over!

Episode 23 was both a hit and miss for me.

This was one of my favorite episodes from the original Sailor Moon R series.

A little slow to start, but good for all those that haven’t watched the original Sailor Moon R series.

「タイム・ワープ –SAILOR PLUTO-」 (Taimu Waapu -SAILOR PLUTO-)

Just when I was giving up hope, Sailor Moon Crystal gives me just enough to hold on.

「侵略 –SAILOR VENUS–」 (Shinryaku –SAILOR VENUS–)
“Invasion –SAILOR VENUS”

Sailor Moon Crystal was not as predictable this week…

「秘密 –SAILOR JUPITER–」 (Himitsu –SAILOR JUPITER–)
“Secret –SAILOR JUPITER–”

Not quite as interesting as last episode, but Sailor Moon Crystal continues to stick to its tried and true formula of weekly villains anyway.

「誘拐 –SAILOR MERCURY–」 (Yuukai –SAILOR MERCURY–)
“Abduction – SAILOR MERCURY-”

Sailor Moon Crystal is turning out to be surprisingly fast-paced now, and that’s not necessarily a bad thing.

「侵入 –SAILOR MARS–」 (Shinnyuu –SAILOR MARS-)
“Infilitration –SAILOR MARS–”

Sailor Moon Crystal finally starts its new arc featuring the Black Moon Clan.

「終結 そして 始まり –Petite Étrangère–」 (Shuuketsu Soshite Hajimari – Petite Étrangère –)
“Conclusion and Commencement – Petite Étrangère –”

The end is finally here! Bum bum bum ~

Predictable series be predictable. Is that a always a bad thing though?

This episode did not turn out the way I thought it would – it was better.
