General Impressions
Man, I don’t really have all that much to say about this week’s episode except that it was just a fun time. Between all the fights and the little bits of science sprinkled in here and there, it was just a damn fun episode. If anything, I want to talk a bit about what’s coming up but I’ll save that for later in the post.
So, can we all admit that Chrome and Gen stole the show this week? After Kinro’s surprise defeat by an underhanded tactic by Magma, I wasn’t sure what was going to happen. Luckily, there was just enough luck flowing in Senku’s direction to help gently nudge things into going their way. And by luck, I mean the luck that Senku’s managed to find such reliable friends. Honestly, did anyone think that Chrome would try to use the lens on Suika’s mask to try and start a fire? That and right when you thought Chrome hecked up because of the lack of knowledge of concave and convex lenses, you realize that he took the knowledge he’s gained from working alongside Senku and jerry rigged things to work — what the heck man! Toss in a little bit of psychological warfare courtesy of the quick witted Gen and we had a spectacular finish to Chrome’s fight against the biggest and baddest dude in the village.
After all that happened though, there’s still two more fights left to decide who will end up being the village chief and I can’t wait to see what kind of wackiness occurs since the only real stakes left now is just deciding who gets to claim the role. Anyways, I’ll catch you guys next week when we’ll hopefully get to see Senku complete the miracle cure-all sulfur based antibiotics!

i don’t think so — especially if you’re going off of the most literal use of the word sister.
Man I just love all the characters in this series and their dynamic. Watching the OP made me realise I completely forgot about Tsukasa, Taiju and Yuzuriha though, just such a fun time fully immersed in this village building arc.
Crying lil bub Senku in the ED got me.

I laughed my ass off at the Ginrou fight and the aftermath. It was also really awesome how Magma lost. So that’s what the title of the episode meant.
If only it was Dark Flame Master haha
Having Senku calculate the exact time it would take to light the clothes on fire, down to the second, was almost too crazy. But, knowing this show, I enjoyed it because of the wackiness
