I think it’s a fake picture. I think that there would be a third season of GS but I don’t think that this picture is taken from that. Plus, I think a third season entitled “Gundam Seed Fortune” is too fishy. It’s like they substituted “Fortune” as a synonym for “Destiny”, which I think is not an appropriate title for a third season.
If this is true, which has a very very very low percentage, I would be disappointed since I’m an Athrun and Cagalli fan.
I just hope they do well in the third season.

What do you mean credit the artist? I have an image source for where I originally saw the pic and where I originally saw the story. I have no idea who made the fake image, nor can I confirm who the original artwork is by. This is considered rumor news that turned out to be fake, but was worth speculating on.

Sometimes you need to READ the title before flaming anybody first. And why the hell do you need to credit someone who’s work is actually a stolen fanart from another artist? At least Omni is kind enough to share and post the image source and article about it for us to speculate about the next GS series.

To know what he’s talking about, he has to POST the picture for readers, apparently with no knowledge prior to this that this was actually based on fanart. 😉

i checked out link and i must say, as much as it looks gundam seed-ish, even in the original it didn’t look like cagalli or meyrin(since when did cagalli’s hair end in curls?). When i first saw it i thought he got himself another girl to fall in love with him, after all, he sure did have a lot of girls all over him throught the story (lacus, cagalli, lunamaria, meyrin, the fake lacus aka meer).

As that happens, Eternity’s Elite Pilot, Ken Minato, riding [Splash Gundam], Aisia Selinue’s [Garnet Gundam], [Celcius Gundam] controlled by Leon Wiznard, stand in front of Glenn. The new sword has now descended.
I realy hope there will be a last movie to conclude the two seasons. It is best if Kira-Lacus & Athrun-Cagalli settle down in the last movie.

Well there is a Gundam Seed movie coming out (so I’ve heard anyways) which r not the ovas or special editions. It’s the first gundam seed movie! Sunrise says that this will be the first original Gundam feature film since Gundam F91. So we’ll c what is going 2 really happen with all the characters. 😉

i think it is fake. i mean, as what people said earlier, you can spot a hint of gold on the dark-haired girl Asuran is holding. It tells a lot. Secondly, i assume that the makers of GS are smart enough to let Asuran end up with Cagalli. it would piss off their fans a lot more (since a majority if us like AsuCaga pairing) if they didnt and the some of the fans will probably not watch the shows or have anything from GS again. And Meryin is a very recent character we dont really know about much her except that she likes Asuran. It’s almost quite random that Asuran will end up with Meryin and would leave the audience confused. Besides it’s not a good way to tell a story. An old character in love with a character we hardly know about. A situation like that in any story would most likely piss off any audience. I believe that Asuran and Cagalli will be together. the picture above is fake.

In respect to the artist, who originally made it as Cagalli and Athrun with two kids and one i believe is on the way. (LOOK AT CAGALLI”S TUMMY) Whoever made the pic and colored the hair red can be sued you know.. Taking a fanart that is not his/hers and then changing it… how low. C.E. 77. 4 years have past unknowingly after Kira Yamato and his companions defeated the ambitions of Gilbert Dullindal. Representative Athuran Zala of the international coalition, [ETERNITY]- an organisation bridging the Naturals and Coordinators and even to various countries in the world – busy fighting against rebel terrorists groups attempting to overthrow the new world order, together with his friend Kira, who fought in the last great war, pasts each and every day working effortlessly for the peace of the world. this picture is not fake because if u watched sort of the ending of gundam seed destiny mayrine has red hair cagalie told mayrine to take care of athren when thay where leaving for space i belive in episod 46 of gundam seed destinay there i believe that cagalie left athren because she had to much going on with orb and stuff plus if u notice when athren and cagalie where togehter talking to the crew athren looked at cagglies hand and the ring was gone so i belive that mayrine and athren are togehter there are episods after the final episod showing athren and mayrine togther but not really GF and Bf but ya. so i really do think that picture is real and I would love a 3 serise
That HAS to be a fake. Firstly, either i’m going colour blind or ‘Athruns’ eyes are brown there. And the Athrun I know about has GREEN eyes. Secondly I’ve seen other anime around with very simular styles to GS, and that pic could be from one of them. The text on the pic looks like it’s been stuck on with a cheap sticker, especially the ‘Gundam Seed’ sign.
Furthermore Athrun and Cagali’s love was potrayed rather deeply. The end of ‘Destiny’ was just to rile everyone up so they’d cry out for more and then the 3rd season can come in and A&C can get back together!
