Summary:
In Tokyo, Louise shows up for dinner with her mother dressed in a furisode, but to her mother’s displeasure, she’s invited Saji to come along too. Commenting on how Saji has little will power, Louise’s mother tells him to go home, and Saji almost does so if not for Louise refusing to let him leave. Unbeknownst to them, a battle is taking place above the planet, and Setsuna is realizing that his opponents are stalling for time. Sumeragi has figured out that the enemy is trying to capture a Gundam, and indeed, Soma and Sergei are leading a mobile suit force against Allelujah. Due to how strangely the Kyrios is moving and how it isn’t emitting the special particles, Sergei wonders if this is a trap, so he orders his men to use their nets. Once these nets restrain the Kyrios, Soma approaches it, and Allelujah can sense her, giving him a flashback of a Tieren suit from his past. When the sound of Allelujah’s screaming gets broadcast to the Human Reform League forces, Sergei recognizes it as the same voice as the person who helped during the low orbit station gravity block incident.
In trying to figure out why the enemy pilot is suffering like this, Sergei remembers how the scientist had previously told him about the brain wave abnormality in Soma that was likely caused by an outside influence. Back then, the scientist had concluded that if this was the case, then the other party has the same kind of enhanced glial cells as her and uses the same brain waves. Regardless, Sergei now orders the capture of the Kyrios and has it brought back to the fourth transport ship. As a crew working to remove the pilot – who is currently unconscious – Sergei comments on how this must have been a disappointing first mission for Soma, but she claims not to have such feelings because completing the mission is everything to her. Soma then detects a heat source rapidly approaching, and an energy blast suddenly vaporizes two of the nearby Tierens. The Virtue has arrived, and Tieria detects that the Kyrios is inside the enemy transport. Seeing the Virtue take on its firing stance, Sergei wonders if it intends to fire on its ally along with the transport. Indeed, Tieria declares that Allelujah was not a person suitable to be a Gundam Meister and almost shoots if not for Soma flying in and distracting him.
Noticing that Soma’s mobile suit is fast and different from a normal Tieren, Tieria tries to shoot at it instead, but he misses. With the Tieren Taozi keeping the Gundam busy, Sergei orders the transport to another location and authorizes the use of a cutter to remove the Kyrios’ pilot. Soma meanwhile pelts Tieria with fire from close range, and Tieria responds by destroying the Taozi’s right leg. Seeing that Soma is in trouble, Sergei sends his forces to cover her and to capture the Virtue too. Back on the transport, Allelujah can hear Soma’s voice and recognizes it as the voice of the girl from before. He then changes into Hallelujah and breaks the Kyrios free of the restraints inside the transport’s hanger. The Kyrios ends up destroying the entire ship, and when Sergei realizes that it was lost, he blames it on his own miscalculation. Since he refuses to return empty-handed, Sergei pushes his forces to capture the Virtue. They quickly surround the Gundam and restrain it by tying up all of its arms and legs, and they also use a blue goo that hardens on the Virtue’s joints. Despite this, Tieria is still able to point his cannon at the Tieren to his right, however he’s stopped from firing because Soma’s Tieren Taozi kicks the cannon out of the Virtue’s hands.
That still leaves the two shoulder mounted cannons, and those have to be manually restrained by a pair of Tierens. Tieria refuses to give up and tries to power his way out of all this with maximum GN particle output, so Sergei sends Soma to take out the Virtue’s head. In a bind, Tieria’s eyes start glowing, and the Gundam Virtue’s monitor suddenly changes to “GN-004 NADLEEH.” To everyone’s surprise, the various armored part of the Virtue pop off, revealing a slim Gundam with red, hair-like cords attached to its head. Grabbing the Virtue’s two shoulder cannons with the Nadleeh’s hands, Tieria fires and destroys six Tierens in one instant, causing Sergei to order a retreat. Despite his victory though, Tieria is frustrated to tears by what he considers to be a blunder because he had to bring out the Nadleeh at such an early stage. Back at the spot where the Exia and the Dynames are fighting, the pilots see a flare signaling the Tierens to retreat. Even though the immediate fight is now over, Sumeragi orders her crew to stay sharp because they still need to recover the Kyrios and the Virtue.
As they fly away from the battle, Soma reports to Sergei that though her Taozi can’t accelerate for long distances, it can still cruise along. They then detect something approaching them, and it turns out to be the Kyrios. Hallelujah has been searching for Soma who he now knows is the same kind of person as him – someone who’s had their body strengthened and their brain tinkered with. He starts bombarding her with rifle fire, and with Soma in so much danger, one of the other Tieren pilots steps up to protect her so that she and Sergei can escape. This Tieren tackles the Kyrios, but the Kyrios pushes it off and digs its claw into the enemy mobile suit. Soma wants to help the pilot, but Sergei orders her to withdraw, and the two get away. Addressing Hallelujah, the Tieren pilot declares that the time will come when Celestial Being will have to face the consequences. Since the Tieren pilot talks about their country punishing for breaking the peace and order, Hallelujah retorts back by questioning what kind of order a society has if it converts people into soldiers. And because he’s angry that Soma got away, Hallelujah decides to kill this pilot by slowly driving a blade straight into the Tieren’s cockpit.
As the enemy pilot screams, Hallelujah taunts him about begging for his life and crying for his mother. However, he then hears Allelujah’s voice trying to get him to stop this. Hallelujah almost looks like he’s willing to spare the pilot’s life, but he then laughs and finishes the Tieren off. Afterwards, Hallelujah reverts back to being Allelujah, and he questions why Hallelujah wanted to kill someone so much. He wonders if that’s his true nature and feels that if it is, then he’s a heartless beast. Meanwhile, the Ptolemaios arrives to pick up the Virtue, and the crew realizes that it’s the Nadleeh now. When the Kyrios arrives back too, Christina can hear Allelujah crying in the cockpit. Even Sumeragi is incredibly frustrated at how she made a mistake and was helpless. On Earth, Wang Liu-Mei comments on how the Gundams embody the ideal that Aeolia Schenberg wanted, but she questions why the Meisters are nevertheless so imperfect. Elsewhere, Livonze asks Alejandro if it’s okay to leave things this way, and Alejandro replies that he’s an observer, not a perpetrator. All he can do is to continue to watch them, even if they are going down the path to ruin.
Preview:
Weight loss for Gundams anyone? This must be what they meant in last week’s preview about the hidden ability of the Virtue. The sleeker version has a nice hair-like effect because of the red cords, but I think it’d look better if the front ones weren’t there. Actually, I spoiled myself for the appearance of the Nahdeel because I had seen it in the latest issue of Newtype, so this wasn’t a huge shock. On the other hand, the fact that Tieria’s eyes glowed – I thought he was about to go into SEED mode – was a bit startling. He kept addressing Veda, so I wonder if it signifies a direct connection to the AI or something. There was also the weird part where he was switching between all the different forms of “I” (ore wa…boku wa…watashi wa) as he was crying. Looks like Tieria has some self-identification issues too. Of course, it’s not surprising that each pilot has his own problems since character development has always been something I felt Gundam series were particularly good at.
The latter part of the episode put the focus on Allelujah/Hallelujah, and all signs point to him having been developed by the Human Reform League using the same process as with Soma. That doesn’t answer the question of why there are two personalities inside of him though, and maybe next week’s Allelujah-centric episode will shed some light on that. On a separate note, the new OP and ED set to premiere in January have been announced: the OP will be Ash Like Snow by the brilliant green and the ED will be Friends by Stephanie.
I always thought that it was the fatess gundam around but i see weight watchers catched up to it.
Hah!! Virtue is stripped to the bone and finally shows its feminine side. Interesting.
arrggg gayness
GUNDAM TENTACLES
Also, the fact that Tieria’s Gundam is female-looking underneath is even more proof that Tieria is actually female, y/n?
The truth has been revealed… xD
Gundam with hair ?
https://randomc.net/image/Gundam%2000/Gundam%2000%20-%2010%20-%20Large%2023.jpg
i’ve just read a post about gundam nadleeh on dannychoo.com. who would’ve though that virtue was hiding his true form.
oh cmon,, we all knew that tierra was gay from the beggining. haha lol
so that new form…. -defense but +speed and agility??
Why Tieria is crying after his Virtue transform to Nadleeh??? His sex change with the Gundam also? ha ha ha
I’m really losing interest in this -.-||0
ROFLL i msut tell all gundam fan to keep a lookout for Tierra fans!!! O_O!”!”!
here’s some info on the new Gundam from “Gunota Headlines”
GN-004 Gundam Nadle
“The form uncovered when the Gundam Virtue purges its armor. One characteristic is the exposure of the completely disheveled, hair-like cords that were attached to the armored parts. Light and excelling in mobility, it nimbly dodged attacks from Peiris’ Taozi. It can use the Virtue’s shoulder cannons as handheld weapons.”
@person – wouldn’t be a surprise, we’ve had transvestites in this century, imagine what they’ll have on the 24th century?
Perhaps, he is a she originally. Just like HER gundam; hiding HER gender. Sigh, we are being fooled… Just joking…
well thats kinda of gay
Gundam 00 is worst than Seed.
The quality of this Gundam’s animation is equal to Brain Powerd, which just suck.
When Macross F comes out next year, it will kick the second part of Gundam 00′ ass.
Woah…that is kinda weird…
Unique is good, as long as it is done well 😉
So that’s GN-004? I was looking through my Gundam 00 albums today…you know, the one with the card inside and realised something odd…the card showed the Gundam Meister, and somewhere on the card it highlights the Gundam they’re piloting. Interestingly, the card only listed GN-001, GN-002, GN-003, GN-005……
gundam with hair? lolwut
gundam looked better while it was fat
Wait a minute is Teira crying?
YES he’s crying!! KAWAII!!! OMOCHIKAERI~~~~~ Na No Da!!!! I DID NOT see THAT coming!!! Sweet poptarts!!!
Nadle is derived from an American Navajo word which means a man wearing a woman’s clothes and vice versa. In short, cross dresser…
Ok now…
i actually think the nadleeh is pretty cool, hiding under the virtue and using the shoulder cannons as handheld weapons. Pretty original idea i guess, the hair reminded me of a gundam in gundam G fighter.
https://randomc.net/image/Gundam%2000/Gundam%2000%20-%2010%20-%20Large%2021.jpg – this scene looks interesting, looks like all the pilots besides lockon has show their ‘awakening’ so far
notice that Tieria first uses “Boku” and then changes to “watashi” thus Tieria has to be a woman! How the hell didn’t he/she realize the true sex, I can’t think it was so small that it was that hard to find.
Yeee!
It looks good…can’t wait to watch it.
With all these theories, assumptions going around, i hope none of you get pissed off when you expect too much. This is Gundam we’re talking about.
On a lighter note, expect doujinshis, yaoi/yuri/straight pairings and all that bruhaha fanart/fanfic to appear over the next few weeks. Enjoy your brainf**k boys and girls… *sigh*
So now we have transexual gundams…….
Next we may see Gundam making babies with one another…..yeah
Whats next? Tierra is going to a boobjob? or even worse Nadle gonna get one?
https://randomc.net/image/Gundam%2000/Gundam%2000%20-%2010%20-%20Large%20Preview%2002.jpg
>_> What’s that all about?
Hallelujah is one sadistic bastard XD
Interesting wordplay. Virtue. Nadlee (crossdresser). Taking off the clothes, one transforms into the other.
golthin, the one problem with the pronoun arguement is that “watashi” is gender-neutral. that “w” makes the difference from the feminine form.
Nadlee reminds me somewhat of Cordal from Full Metal Panic (the Armslave Mobile Suit with a ponytail).
@-Z-
I understand that, but he used “boku” and 1 second after that he changes to “watashi”.
It was done on purpose. Watashi is gender-neutral but is used mostly for women, either atashi ot watashi. Very few young men use Watashi, either boku or Ore. Only older men or non native male use watashi.
even though the gundam has long hair that makes it look like a girl gundam it can still be a male, a lot of anime/game male characters have freakishly long hair, even in this anime ya know
i.e. SEPHIROTH*
For those who watched Air TV, remember episode 5 when Misuzu broke out crying at that point? Well for some reason I get this really messed up feeling that Tieria might do the same thing later on.
Its like the Mustache gundams of Turn A!
It’s a Trap!!!!
Oh god, Louise is hot!
@golthin: ‘watashi’ is still gender-neutral. It doesn’t mean that Tieria is a woman because he uses it.
Stephanie? the last time I heard from her, it was in a terrible anime show. But brilliant green is great new, however.
WOW
it looks amazing xD ahahaha
Dang, Hallelujah is kind of freaky no? o_0 Makes me wonder what exactly the HRL did to him to make him so blood thirsty.
Tieria is a Futa
WoW!!! NOBEL GUNDAM without the Color LoL
OK…First, we have a NEWTYPE with a doble personality=Aleluya
Second, We have a Coordinator=Tiera
What’s Next? CHAR AZNABLE or AMURO RAY???
I just notice before the ending the green haired guy is kinda voiced like Amuro…Second Coming Perhaps?
Oh…my…god…
https://randomc.net/image/Gundam%2000/Gundam%2000%20-%2010%20-%20Large%2024.jpg
HAAAUUUU!!! KAWAIIIII!!! OMOCHIKAERIIIIII!!!!!
I think I love him even more now that he made that face!! I WANNA HUG HIM!!!
Am i the only one who frikin wonders what the hell is the purpose of Saji and Louise in this show? So far they have no frikin relation except that saji is setsuna’s neighbor; “man what a connection!”
IMO so far showing them is completely irrelevant, since i highly doubt that they’l play a big role, unlike that princess Ishmael or something will for sure, but there two are just extras.
At least in Gundam seed, Kira’s friends had a purpose which was to help the archangel and was close with the protragonist.
Everytime I see Louise she gets hotter and hotter also I have a feeling saji and her will break up cuse there relationship is to pretictible and boring right now.
I think Nadleeh would be translated as ナダレ,however if you translate it in japanese, it literally means avalanche or 雪崩. Interesting eh? However, that hair on Nadaleeh will stay on, as it was connected to the armour.
@VERBATIM EX:
Heh, Amuro Ray is in Gundam 00… at least as its narrator. For those that don’t know, Furuya Tohru (Amuro Ray), made his return to Gundam in Double O as its narrator.
From ‘Fat Boy’ Gundam to ‘Drag Queen’ Gundam…
Since ‘Lockon’ is the only Gundam Meister who should be locked up in a white windowless building, I don’t expect him to live through season one.
The Brilliant Green are doing the next OP? Saiko!
Nahdeel is the 3rd gender in the lore of a Native Tribe, the Navajo tribe. The closest meaning to it is perhaps intersexual, or having both genders in one body.
That’s probably why he keeps switching back and forth between Ore (masculine form), Boku (not as masculine form, but mostly used by male), and Watashi (the neutral form).
Show Spoiler ▼
This series sucks. All the gundams suck except for Gundam Wing
Ooo..A Gundam with hair. I always thought that that was what Gundams were missing. >
@Final
There was a Gundam with hair called Noble Gundam back in 1994, in the G Series
@InYourFace
0/10
@Grinz:
Agreed. InYourFace’s comment seems like a typical reaction from a gaijin (外人) who just hopped onto the anime scene. Or maybe he’s just a 13 year old who likes to just bash anything for no valid reason…?
Tieria is a hermaphrodite.
https://randomc.net/image/Gundam%2000/Gundam%2000%20-%2010%20-%20Large%2022.jpg
If Noble gundam were to ever appear in Gundam wing, it’d probably look like that. Although I don’t really follow this series (aside from reading these summaries), so I don’t know if that’s a blast or a beam.
@divine & Grinz – Don’t mind InYourFace, he must be a 4chan level retard/troll/f*gg*t/pedo.
Tieria wins major points with me
For some reason, I kinda get this feeling that Saji and Louise might join Celestial Being. Of course we don’t know that to be true. Anyway, I MUST SEE THIS EPISODE SUBBED NOW!!! I mean, Tieria CRYING??!! Haaaaaaaauuuuuuu!!! *Goes into Rena (Higurashi)’s omochikaeri mode and takes him away*
@FireChick
*Sigh*… fangirls -_-
Randomly, to go with the TTT’s explanation on Nahdeel, for First Nations peoples it’s not uncommon to see people as being ‘two spirited’ – possessing both the male and female. These people were considered important in the tribe, serving roles as healers, guides, prophets, and imparters of knowledge. Think along the lines of a guru/teacher/leader.
The contemporary take on this is that, yes, now many transexual First Nations people use this as a term to describe themselves, but the above is the traditional take.
All this just really makes Tieria a very fascinating character, doesn’t it?
Also, I love that the Brilliant Green are back and have been releasing so many new songs. Can’t wait to hear the new OP!
a fat guy on the outside, skinny chick on the inside 😛
Holy crap… that was soo good.
Wow~~!!! That was one awesome episode!
Watching it in combo with the previous ep made it even more so!
I loved the focus on Alleluyah and Teiria!
Also, many tears from the CB side.
Even Teiria has a heart. They’re all starting to grow on me.
Although, Nadleeh’s hair made it look all weird (what’s the purpose of hair for Gundams?? Distraction?)
I really loved this ep…
I’ve also got the feeling that 26 eps for the first season are only going to be an introduction to the series. Introduce the characters, their pasts and the setting properly before leaving off at the beginning the real thing with a huge cliffhanger.
The “hair” on Nadleeh were actually the cables that powered its armour pieces.
Holy crap i cant wait for the subs!!!! (Los espero en español by the way)
esta espectacular!!
Is Tieria really a she? Well he acts like a guys but cryies like a girl
In the next Episode of FApwing 8=>
O_O Tiera- “Buhuhuhu” . Hallujah “:…” . Tiera “BUhuuhuuu” . Hallujah : “Alright…we will know what kind of gender u are in the next 3 episodes so bear with it.” Tiera “Watashi…boku…atashi…”. Hallujah : “…dooh…who is the team isn’t insane – mental retarded or shizo?” Hallujah 2: “You’re everything at all – just go for the bonergirl ^^” Hallujah :” You making me sick…” Hallujah 2:” I know – iam YOU” Hallujah :” NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOooooooooooooooooooooooooo”…
Hmm, I wonder it the Gundam 00 Model kits have Nahdeel for Gundam Virtue.
I admit, the randomness of Nadleeh’s look threw me off but it’s starting to head off to a new level. Actually I thought Nadleeh sort of reminded me of MKR OAV’s “Lexus” mech with the hair thing… yeah.
man, this is way better than gundam seed/destiny
Tiera was crying because he was lamenting about how weak allelujah was and that he was captured. While he as the elitist was the first oen to show the true gundams. I like the allelujah/hallelujag duality and imo lockon is the only meister who didn’t make a mistake yet. Setsuna didn’t even react on the nadleeh part
awesome serie
After seeing Nadaleeh I am starting to think… does that mean that each of the other suits can transform into another gundam? That would be kind of cool but how they will do that is a mystery though. I mean Virtue was a fat gundam so it was easy to guess that another MS could be hidden at its core. The rest however are pretty scaled down, the next largest one is Dynames and well he is only large cuz he has a big rifle on him. So does that mean they will add in more stuff on the other ones. Also does this mean this is the last we will see of virtue? Maybe the transformation is permenant.
You know I am starting to understand why Tieria is so frustruated with others all the time and why he is such a bitch. He just got a major downgrade right there in terms of manhood. I mean there is two baisc choices here and both are bad for him. Choice one Nadaeelh being a girly suit just hits him below the belt or he can turn out to be a girl hiding in male form and that’s also makes him lose him manhood.
P.s.: No offense to the ladies, just pointing out how the guy just got his attitude handed to him, lucikily for him it seems that Hallehluiya only comes out when Allehhuiya is out otherwise you could best your like on it that he would have sticked that right up on him at his next “unfit comment”.
I wonder what’s so good about gundam cross dresser, sure it looks better but is it just a speed upgrade? I’m sure it has some other abilitys that make it better and Virtue or else it would be pointless (GN field is on the fat armour)
My guess is that the “hair” cables on Nadaleeh can be used to attach to other things and power them, we might even see Nadaleeh and the Ptolemy combining to become a Superweapon.
Nadleeh actually seems like a weaker version of Virtue rather than a power up that is used for it’s element of surprise (was used). It’s kind of like J-Der was to King J-Der when they did the J-BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAADO PLUG OUT in Gaogaigar.
way to pull off an escalflowne moment
I LOVE GUNDAM 00 AND MAI OTOME SETSUNA F. SEIEI LOVE ARIKA YUMEMIYA BY SUNRISE GUNDAM MEISTERS AND MAI OTOME MASHIRO CALL GUNDAM 00 AND MAI OTOME OK SETSUNA AND ARIKA TIERIA AND NINA LOCKON AND SHIZURU ALLELUJAH AND NATSUKI OK GO GOOD LUCK GUY THANKS YOU FO SUNRISE

https://randomc.net/image/Gundam%2000/Gundam%2000%20-%2010%20-%20Large%2032.jpg
I think of the Nadleeh as the Fabio of Gundams. Yes, it has long hair but it still maintains an overall masculine appearance. As for Tiera’s gender, I’m pretty sure he’s just a guy with a feminine appearance. And I don’t believe he’s gay either.
Here’s my review of the Gundam 00: It’s setting is more real-world than any other series I’ve seen so far. The plot pretty good, it kept me hanging for most of the season. It shows the progression of events from personal, civilian, political, and military standpoints, and has great character development. It’s a definite homage to the Gundam Wing series.
What I don’t like about the show is that there are only a few space battles. There aren’t entire legions of mobile suits and fleets of warships vieing for the destruction, salvation, or domination of Earth. And when there are space battles, THE FRAKING EXPLOSIONS ARE BLUE!! I wish they would just color them normally. Plus, there are only a couple of space colonies which are not crucial to the plot.
And the idea that all the developed nations in the world are dependant on solar power is a little far-fetched for me. I get that its a plot device to justify the three space elevators and all the conflict for control over energy, but there should be at least some consideration of alternatives like nuclear fusion, wind power, hydroelectricity, geothermal power, etc. The physics behind the Solar Furnaces and the GN particles are fuzzy at best. And the Trinity Meisters? Sure, their Gundam Thrones are kickass and the pilots have colorful personalities, but their presence in the series has very little explanation behind it.
Overall, I thought the series was okay. I kinda liked Gundam SEED better, but I’m looking forward to seeing the second season.
I’ve got an account on FanFiction.net under the same name as this comment. Since it’s now summer, I’ll be able to do more writing. Do pay a visit if your interested. I’ve got ambitious plans for some good crossovers.
