「あなたがとってもまぶしくて」 (Anata ga Tottemo Mabushikute)
“You Are Shining Brilliantly”
Slice of life is probably at its finest when it tries to solve real life problems that seem to have no clear answer.
The Inokuma Kazoku
After briefly appearing in the opening sequence along side Youko, I’ve been dying to see just what kind of personality her siblings Kouta and Mitsuki had. The two look pretty normal when it comes to side characters but what caught me off guard was their rather unique personality. And by unique, the two are probably the best interpretation of what “normal” would be in a show like this. Shy around strangers but spunky enough to shoot for the stars when they want something, it was fun to see the lying siblings in action.
That and wasn’t it awesome to see Youko show us her softer side? Seeing how she’s usually the most composed when it comes to most things (Ayaya loses it a little too often now-a-days), it was just too cute watching her run from Kouta and Mitsuki after they said they didn’t like her.
Ayaya! Ayaya!
I think it’s been pretty clear for a while that Aya holds some pretty strong feelings toward Youko (both positive and negative), and if anything this second season has done a pretty good job cementing the notion Aya wants to be more than just friends with Youko. Sure, there hasn’t been much progression in that department because of just how strong of a closet tsundere she is but watching her give it her all just to get a few simple but sweet words out gives me hope she’ll be able to do it one day. Now, if only her messages didn’t get misinterpreted by Youko…
Older Siblings
Just a random thought here, but I don’t think I’ve ever had the opportunity to shutdown my younger siblings in quite the same fashion as Isami did to Alice and Shinobu. Something about being able to simply say “No” with a stern look on your face feels like it’d be extremely satisfying.
Looking Ahead
After a super eventful episode that ranged from things as simple as cuddling with puppies to handling the intricate moves needed to express your feelings to another, I can’t help but feel that things will go back to being a bit more simple next week. In either case though, I’m sure we’ll be greeted with a fun episode. See you next week!
Omake
Finally the siblings get some actual screentime.

It’s the White Devil! You will be befriended!
Alice wants to be a dog today. She misses her Poppy Whateeeever keeps her being cute, please continue doing it.
How the hell did Shino make a whole stuffed toy on wheels?? … oh wait this is an imagine spot right? …. nook apparently this is real. I’m glad for Shino, but the idea of a toy substitute is a bit depressing.
My understanding is that she made the toy dog on top, whereas base is just Roomba-like vacuum cleaner provided by onee-san.
This series is gold! Get it? OK I’ll go now.
IF you guys don’t know, that Big Ben Digital clock is actually the REAL BBC’s April Fool’s Day Hoaxes during 1980.

Oh THAT’S what that was all about.
I was thinking about the BBC spaghetti tree prank when Alice and Karen said TV stations also got involved in April Fools.
Ayaya X Youko shippers unite!
the series is too innocent to get anywhere with it beyond urealised potential, though…
I don’t for a second think of them as lesbian lovers. I’m sure its much more innocent then that. Aya has some sort of a sisterhood crush on her friend and nothing more.
