@zoozoc: At this point, I’m not sure there is such a thing as variety in terms of relationships… “guys trying to get girls” seems like what people would expect in real life (with or without the trap element); “girls trying to get guys” — apparently you see a lot of this; and then we already know about girls trying to get girls and guys trying to get guys (yuri and yaoi, or depending on the context, traps), so… I’m not sure I get what you mean.
But, I don’t get why seeing a guy daydream is so interesting… unless it’s for the “yes, I’m normal” response. For guys, can’t one just daydream themselves and get the same effect? (As for girls… I’m not sure you would want someone daydreaming about you that much.)

i’ve always wanted to see hosaka go around to the minami house and see fujioka and chiaki in daddy roleplay and get completely the wrong idea. is it just me who thinks about these things? yeah, proabably.
and they say “idiots can never get sick” in the previews (^v^).

well i like it because it does reflect real life more, and this is a slice of life anime (of course with everything made more comical) besides i think the way he daydreams is very comical, it was just refreshing for me since very rarely in anime do you every see it happen

This is coming in the late post but Hosaka imagining playing as a conductor is like Nodame Cantabile’s Chiaki. Perhaps that’s a Nodame Cantabile reference.
Wow, you have to feel sorry for Hosaka a bit when he misses out on sharing lunch. The music there was killer. He really has dedication, is likely a good cook, doesn’t mind at all about a woman with kids.
