• As a reminder, there are no new episodes of Basquash or Fullmetal Alchemist this week because of the 12th IAAF World Championships in Athletics. A new episode of Bakemonogatari, however, will be airing later today.
  • Speaking of Basquash, I really like the full version of the current ending song and have been listening to the newly released single all week. In contrast, I still don’t like the current Haruhi opening song and laughed when I saw how ridiculous the PV of it was. It certainly doesn’t make me think any better of Hirano Aya.
  • As much as I wanted to blog it because it’s a good series, I really can’t find the time for Sora no Manimani. School recently started again, and my final year of grad school is going to be a doozy. I would still recommend the show though (Jaalin likes it even more than I do).
  • A few people have asked me about my thoughts for the upcoming fall season, and while I haven’t done any significant research on it, my first impression was that it’s even more full of sequels than usual. There’s something like nine or ten of them out of less than thirty new shows, and it’s a shame there aren’t more completely original series. Regardless, I suspect I’ll definitely be watching Darker than BLACK, InuYasha, Railgun, and Kimi ni Todoke.

    1. I WANT RAILGUN :))
On the other hand does anyone here know the show fairy tail.
The anime hasn’t started yet but lots of people are already excited about it.
      The manga’s really awesome.

    2. With regards to the Basquash ED theme, futari no yakusoku, its a strong song with a catchy tune.
But, at the same time, there are some parts of the song that i strongly dislike as well.

    3. really?? inuyasha? i wonder how he’ll beat naraku? DO YOU SUPPOSE he’ll use a wind fang attack? lots of demons out there, i sure hope they know how to guard against a wind fang attack!! UHH-OHH kagome’s in a pinch!!! everybody get down!! because here comes a wind fang attack!! NIGGA PLEASE!!
lotta good stuff coming our way though. btw-what the heck is “trapeze” about?

      BROOKLYN otaku
    4. I like both Hirano Aya and Super Driver! PV of it is very good, specially compared to all Michael Jacksons PVs, which are all horrible, as well as the “music” in them. Ridiculous hemorrhoid-sighing. Basquash music is somewhat artificial and laughable. “Cool”. Ha ha ha…

    5. I’m really sad that there’s no FMA this week, something significant will be missing from my Sunday T_T
I’m excited about InuYasha though, and I was surprised they’re actually going to pick it back up…

    6. @Izzat & Samurai, it looks like the case art (or hidden booklet art) of Basquash ED (if my fail eyesight is right, the text says Futari no Yakusoku).

Can’t recognize the characters cause I don’t watch the show, so ya know…

Downloading ED now to make sure.

    7. umum… Hirano Aya is definitely high… well in that music video at least…

hooray!! i didn’t know kimi ni todoke is getting an anime adaption!! 😀 yay!! i’m excited!!

hmmm… i wonder why yin’s not in the character section on the DtB website… noooo~!! and the sideview picture of inuyasha and kagome’s faces looks weird…
