「夢の世界(ドリームワールド)と第二の魔王候補(サブアドミニスター)」 (Yume no Sekai (Doriimuwaarudo) to Saini no Maou Kouho (Sabuadominisutaa))
“Dream World and Sub-Administer”
Arata, meet the evil twincest molesting magus. I think you’ll get along just fine.
Arata Isn’t a Slut
For all Yui and Arin spent this episode all over Arata (in so many ways, woohoo!), Arata did separate himself from other harem leads in a crucial way. It’s not that Arata is going for a harem, ala Hyoudou Issei or Sugisaki Ken. He’s fundamentally a guy who likes to flirt and tease, and who says whatever he’s thinking, as Yui repeatedly noted—and he’s lucky he’s got charisma, confidence, and a boatload of Demon Lord-class magic, otherwise that wouldn’t get him far. What’s he’s not is a slut. When offered up a kiss from Yui, he stops her, and he wonders aloud if it’s really okay when Arin gives the greenlight for Yui to be his mistress. (Side note: Do it and don’t look back, Arata!) Sure, he’s open to temptation, and there are some suspect moments to be sure, but he isn’t the kind of slimeball who would lead to a nice boat. When intersecting feelings are the name of the game, the potential for tragedy is high, so it’s worth noting when the protagonist doesn’t look like he’d feed the fire. That’s not the tone of the series, but at least he’s helping out.
Pointless Yui Interlude
The magic system in this series is still insufficiently explained (or perhaps insufficiently interesting … it’s hard to say), because the interlude with dream Yui didn’t interest me much. How Levi expects nothing, and Yui doesn’t understand friends … show, don’t tell! Because in telling us these things, there was no impact. It all amounted to a diversion whose only allure was blushing Mira, Lilith scolding Arata in her sleep, and the kiss, but that didn’t justify the time spent.
Selina’s Ane, the Demon Lord Candidate
In contrast, I would have rather spent more time with Liselotte Sherlock (Touyama Nao), Selina’s older twin sister and a demon lord candidate. (I totally called it on the twin thing. Not that it was hard.) So far she’s only got sheer personality to recommend her, plus killer legs and a penchant for magic-sapping twincest, but that’s more interesting than the dream Yui interlude at least. For her, we have the same question we still have of Mira and Akio—how is Arata going to bring her to his side? I have no idea, but it should be fun to find out.
I’m guessing more Liese. That’s probably not a stretch, even if her top is stretching damn near to the breaking point, yowza!
tl;dr: @StiltsOutLoud – The last Trinity Seven shows up, after two others jump into Arata’s bed naked. Also, b00bs #trinity7 05
- Best part of the episode? Levi sleeps on the ceiling. Because ninja, that’s why!
- “Demons are cute, but ghosts are scary!” What. (Trope.)
- A grimoire iPad. Glad to see these magus aren’t stuck in the past, I suppose.

Get over here, Lilith.
ALL HAIL LIESE!
As a manga fan, Liese definitely is best girl!
Objection! Ninja best girl. :3
I argue that the Yui interlude was totally necessary because:
I really got a shock to know how a ninja sleep (>w< !!)
ok i admit it i’m a noob, how the hell do you post a picture in the comments? i’ve html’ed my ass in to computer noob hell and i’m quite depressed, i still can’t figure it out.

Note: It should only work for the images in this post. Other post’s images (much less non-RC images) will just appear as links.
YES! Stilts is doing this series! And to think I wanted to lure him with twin tails and knee socks…
B-but I’ve been blogging it for weeks now o.O
It’s because of swimsuits.
I had the temporal memory of my cat… you were gone! I forgot XD Sorry Stilts! Love your articles.
I-I didn’t pick it up because of that! *tsuuuun*
Sex Appeal Personified
There’s a lot of that in this show. I’m so excited to see an mc who doesn’t turn red and run away like a dweeb. Like the first scene in his room and then this one during PE. https://randomc.net/image/Trinity%20Seven/Trinity%20Seven%20-%2005%20-%20Large%2002.jpg
“life is so hard right now.”
This is an mc that I get along with.
Liese is the best girl in Trinity Seven while Kurumi is the best girl in Date A Live.
Liese and Levi, best girls of the series. But the rest are all great and arent far behind :3
Trinity 7’s author will be writing 2 spinoff novels for the manga.
The novels will cover the main characters’s pasts and events not yet shown in the manga.
The manga artist will be providing illustrations as well.
The hell happen to you Chitoge!?
LOL. I thought like that too.
I kinda like Trinity Seven, it’s mostly amusing, funny, and doesn’t entirely forgo plot. But the one thing I can’t quite get over the feeling that some chars seiyuu are kinda miscast.
This ep I personally found Touyama Nao to be a mismatch for Liese, I honestly expected a more seductive voice for her, and Touyama Nao doesn’t quite fit the bill. Sakura Ayane as Levi threw me off the first time I heard it, and it still continues to; it’s a strange choice, in my opinion.
She also enjoys exploring all over Maaya’s body.
The harassment continues even in their respective characters.
Ayaneru losing her wits when scared.
She’s normally a cool, calm and collected girl-loving girl, so I think Levi suits her perfectly.
She enjoys flirting with Uchida Maaya just like in Gochiusa that resembles Levi playing around a lot too.
I don’t quite have time to craft a proper response, but I think when it comes to seiyuu work, a lot of it has more to do with how they portray the characters rather than the seiyuu’s personalities directly. That’s not to say it doesn’t help of course, if they can relate to the characters better, and pull off a better performance.
With regards to Sakura Ayane as Levi, I found a mismatch between Levi’s face and her voice, especially coming from reading the manga. It just doesn’t click for me. Part of it could have been hearing her in other shows before I caught Trinity Seven (Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso, Psycho-Pass 2), and it might result in less of a dissonance if and when I rewatch this show on its own. I wouldn’t bet on it though.
okay. where is this going?
All thos magical names and terminologies look really interesting.
wish the author focus more on shonen style fight scene tho.
