Re: Zero Kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu – 11
(Remu)
“Rem”
Even as the season’s coming to an end, Re: Zero keeps pushing out great episodes one after another. Now, we’re headed straight into the next story arc with high expectations.
Omoide no Marnie
(Omoide no Marnie)
“When Marnie Was There”
It’s dispiriting to think this could be the last Ghibli film to grace our screens. But at the very least we ended with one of the studio’s best to date.
Kiznaiver – 10
(Suki na Kimochi ga Mukuwarenai kamo Nante Juujuu Shouchi no Ue daro?)
“You Knew Very Well That Your Romantic Feelings Might Be Unrequited, Right?”
Rebirth.
Mayoiga – 11
(Bus ni Noreba Utagokoro)
“Get In the Bus, And It’ll Get the Song In You”
I don’t think I’ve watched a series where 90% through the story the characters decide they don’t care anymore and instead want to sleep while the climax approaches.
Koutetsujou no Kabaneri – 09
(Horobi no Kiba)
“Fang of Ruin”
If anime has taught us one thing, it’s to never trust a long-haired, well-spoken bishounen.
Hai-Furi – 10
(Sekidōsai de Happī ! )
“Happy at the Equator Festival!”
Becalmed sailors have lots of time, so they get very drunk.
Shounen Maid – 09
(Nasake wa Hito no Tame Narazu)
“One Good Turn Deserves Another”
I’m not so sure Shounen Maid isn’t the most consistent series of the spring. It’s certainly the most emotionally effective.
Flying Witch – 10
(Ryouriawazu to Hachiawazu)
“Bad With Cooking and Bad With Bees”
