Now that every show has had a few several many episodes to make its case, it’s time to tell you what we’ll be blogging this season. This is Random Curiosity’s Summer 2019 blogging schedule.

As always, this is a tentative overview of our plans for the new season . . . is what we used to say, but with oodles episodes under our belts, we’re pretty confident in our picks. (Except the ones that haven’t aired yet, some of which we’re still eyeing.) Will some of them fall apart in the home stretch? Probably. This is what we’re going with for now.

In staff news, Zaiden is back! And he’s back with style, because our boy is covering series like they’re going out of style. By the way, notice that asterisk by Zaicchi and Enzonon’s blogging totals? That’s because they’re both writing about the blockbuster of the summer, Vinland Saga. Twice the opinions for the same low price. Ain’t it grand?

Also in staff news, I’m still being an irrepressibly lazy sod (see: the criminally late publication of this post), and Passerby is joining me! ‘Cept he’s using his free time in pursuit of that elusive dream of all anime blogs, “evergreen content,” in the form of his Miscellaneous Whimsey editorials. Some of them are even good! Y’all should check ’em out.

Usual boilerplate: just in case, writer applications are always open, and you can send me an example post at stilts(at)randomc(dot)net. I expect some changes once the new site drops, which yes that’s still happening! Takes time to bring this dinosaur kicking and screaming into the 2010’s. Soon, soon.

In show news, we’re covering 17 shows, with the possibility of up to 3 others, depending on whether they’re any good. Crazy numbers! Not that we got everything, but I’m happy with our coverage. There’s always a chance of finale posts at the end of the season as well.

That’s everything from yours truly. Thank you all for reading, commenting, sharing, discording, and generally putting up with our (see: my) nonsense. We luff you all like the chimera we definitely didn’t use humans to make (dated reference!). Keep being awesome y’all!

    1. It’s too subjective to answer, to be sure.

There have been seasons in the past where Thursdays were very dominant (when NoitaminA had two series, usually both excellent – that era). Recently it’s been either Friday or Saturday dominant, and I can certainly recall other seasons where a distressing chunk of my blogged series fell on one or the other. But “all”? No, that’s never happened for me.

  1. I love your Anime watching calendar! That’s such a great idea and really helps us follow along. Just curious why you don’t binge watch a show Just curious what happens on Tuesdays and Thursdays where you don’t watch as much? =)
