Summary:
In front of the Omoro restaurant back in Okinawa, Kaori wonders where everyone is. A plane flies overhead and lands at a nearby airport; a plane filled with Corpse Corps. Meanwhile, Okamura’s mother is on the phone, worried about her son. The TV nearby is reporting that Diva’s singing will be broadcast through satellite. In New York, David is outlining a plan where they go and plant a bomb at the parabolic antenna of a broadcast relay station. Okamura comments on how this is insurance in case they aren’t able to stop Diva’s performance. However, David says that this will only prevent the satellite transmission, so there are other forces of Red Shield making moves elsewhere. For the New York operation, David wants himself, Lewis, Kai, and Okamura to go, the latter of whom is quite surprised to be chosen. In the other room, Saya wakes up to find Hagi waiting by her side. He tells her that it’s impossible for her to fight with her body like this, but Saya knows that she must fight because there is no next time. If she sleeps and wakes up again, the world might already be controlled by Chiropteran. That’s why she has to defeat Diva and end everything. Hagi wonders if Saya spoke to Kai since Kai doesn’t know about the promise between the two of them. Saya thinks that it’s better if Kai doesn’t know because if he did, he’d try to stop her. She believes that they can’t live together with normal people – the tomorrow where Kai lives is too radiant a place for her; being a Chiropteran, she can’t hope for tomorrow. That’s why she can only live with Hagi. Saya wants him to please tell her to fight, and Hagi does so reluctantly, unable to look at her directly as he’s saying it.
Saya then gets dressed and finds Kai packing in the kitchen, getting ready for his Red Shield mission. As he’s leaving, Saya tells him not to get hurt, and Kai tells her to get some rest. Outside the apartment building, Okamura decides to give Mao his camera. She wonders if it’s a memento, but Okamura has no intention of dying and just wants her to keep it until he gets back. David is the last one to get into the group’s van, and he does so only after Julia tells him to be careful. During all of this, Solomon has been hanging by his wrists over a puddle of dried blood in a room somewhere in Nathan’s house. James comes in and comments on how Diva’s favorite beautiful Solomon is now a dirty animal. He says that he’s going to go kill Saya and bring her head back so that Solomon can kiss it the same way Salome kissed Iokanaan’s head (aka. John the Baptist). Laughing evilly, James leaves and is briefly held up by Nathan outside the house. Nathan likes the wonderful brutal blood smell coming from James, and James responds by saying that a person who won’t kneel to Diva has no value existing in this world. After James goes off, Amshel comes up behind Nathan and asks if he’s going to be succeeding James’ burden of Chevalier killing. In his serious voice, Nathan tells Amshel not to order him around and explains although that James is broken, what he said wasn’t wrong – a person who won’t kneel to Diva really has no value existing in this world. What’s more, he thinks that Amshel sees Diva as only an experiment. But Nathan than changes his tone back and says that they all look at Diva in different ways.
By evening, the Red Shield group is riding on a ferry to their destination. Hearing Okamura sigh, David tells him not to worry because there won’t be too much danger as long as they work skillfully. Actually, Okamura is thinking about how he went from collecting information on an event to causing an event. He explains that his father took pictures of Saya during the Vietnam War, but after that, his father had stopped taking photographs and opened up a small photograph shop instead. Okamura now understands his father’s feelings – having learned too much of the truth and having to choose between doing nothing and doing something. David wonders if Okamura was guided by his father to come here and then admits that he wanted to know why his own father protected Saya even though he was hurt and then entrusted her to George. The conclusion David came to was that Saya had been left to them as their only hope. Okamura comments on how David has also inherited his father’s blood and how it’s an ironic thing. At this point, Kai finally speaks up, saying that that has nothing to do with it. He is not related by blood with George or with Saya, but he’s still here now. He wanted to do it this way, so he’s here; that’s something that applies to David and Okamura too. The two of them realize that Kai is right since they were the ones that made the choice.
At the apartment, Lulu is watching Saya sleep and asks Hagi about Saya having dreams. Lulu wishes that she could sleep too so that she can meet all her friends in her dreams. However, Hagi tells her that she wouldn’t necessarily have good dreams. At the same time, James is standing on the Brooklyn Bridge and transforms himself into his Chiropteran form. Back at Nathan’s place, Solomon is futilely struggling with his chains. Nathan enters the room and wonders why Solomon is able to go so far for Saya. Solomon doesn’t know why, but he does know that he’s not following anyone’s orders – he chose this way of life where he devotes everything to Saya. Nathan thinks that Solomon is mad with love and came off the path. He notes that if Solomon had met Saya earlier, then perhaps this world would have been changed. In any case, Nathan wants Solomon to show him a new Salome story. He then uses his powers to break the chains and leaves Solomon some clothes. With it now being nighttime, the Red Shield group has arrived at the relay station and is planting their bombs. Meanwhile, Saya is still sleeping under the watch of Hagi and Lulu when Hagi senses something and raises his cello case just in time to block some spikes. Hagi flies up to fight James, but the enemy Chiropteran tears through Hagi’s wings with his Shifu arms. Right as Saya is waking up, James peers his Chiropteran head through the window, so she springs into action by grabbing her sword and pushing James out the window, onto the street below.
Facing off against James, Saya first cuts her own hand and bloodies her sword. However, she still can’t break through James’ armor, which he tells her is flawless now that he’s been reborn. He proceeds to shoot Saya with his arm, hitting Saya in the shoulder, but then Hagi comes to her aid. James claims that he wants to see his anguished brother (aka. Solomon) kiss her bloody head. After he pins Hagi down with his arm, James continues saying that he’s going to offer that maddening scene to Diva since love and despair make Diva’s song louder. Saya struggles to get back up, but James gets to her first and smacks her into the windshield of a nearby car. James then takes Saya’s sword with the intent of finishing her off with her own weapon. Lulu picks this moment to attack James, but he simply pins her to the wall with more spikes. James is about to stab Saya through the head, but her sword stops just short. The reason is because Solomon is now holding onto James’ arm. James can’t understand why Solomon is protecting Saya even though he’s Diva’s Chevalier. Solomon replies that he would become Saya’s Chevalier even if it’s not rewarding. By his own intent, he’s becoming Saya’s Chevalier. He’s gone beyond blood because he’s found something even sweeter and more fragrant. From now on, Solomon pledges to be Saya’s Chevalier. He starts crushing James’ wrist, forcing James’ to drop Saya’s sword. However, as it’s falling to the ground, the sword nicks Solomon on his chest.
James scoffs upon seeing both Solomon and Hagi defending Saya and wonders if they’re knights who serve love. Diva doesn’t like such stories, instead preferring ones with hatred, betrayal, despair, chaos, destruction, and death. It’s on the word “death” that James fires off more spikes at Saya, but Hagi protects her with his own body. Solomon steps up to attack, though James just swats him away. With Saya feeling faint, the end seems to be near. However, a familiar cracking starts to form on James’ face – the Thorn. He doesn’t know why this is happening, but Saya and Hagi quickly take the opportunity to drive her sword through his head. James’ final words before he dies call out to “Mama.” Lulu attributes all of this to Moses and everyone else protecting them after death. Solomon gets down on his knee and kisses Saya’s hand, telling her that if she needs him, she just needs to call his name. As Solomon walks away, Saya calls out his name to stop him, but she feels faint again and briefly takes her eyes off him. By the time she looks up again, he has disappeared. Hagi remarks that Solomon was able to go beyond blood and become Saya’s Chevalier with pride. It is at this point that Kai, David, Lewis, and Okamura return to the apartment and see that something’s happened. Julia comes outside with Mao and explains that a Chevalier appeared. She notes how Saya is exhausted even though she had just gotten up from sleeping when James attacked. David realizes that Saya’s sleeping period must be approaching, but Saya says that she’s ok.
Solomon meanwhile leans against a chain-link fence in an alleyway, with his chest now crystallizing because of how Saya’s sword had nicked him earlier. He knows that he still has to protect Saya and face off against Diva, so he’s trying his best to hold on for a bit longer. He notices Amshel appear in front of him and call him pitiful, so he walks forward and weakly tries to attack his brother. The only thing that that accomplishes is breaking Solomon’s own arm off from the impact of hitting Amshel combined with the crystallization effects. As he’s crumbling to the ground, Solomon apologizes to Saya. Amshel holds Solomon up by the shoulders and calls him a fool. Back at Nathan’s home, Nathan is telling Diva about it’s finally just him and Amshel now. Diva doesn’t seem to care, prompting Nathan to ask if she’s not lonely. Diva explains that she has these children and wants them to hear her song when they’re born. Nathan comments on how it’s rare that Diva does anything for someone else. Diva doesn’t quite understand it herself; she just gets these feelings when she sees her children. She thinks that in this world there are only the people who kneel down to her and the people who want to kill her, but these kids are somehow different. As Diva pets the cocoons, she wonders what kind of world her children will create. Back at the apartment, Saya is sleeping under the watch of her friends. It is sometime later that the performance time of Diva finally arrives.

Well, the Salome and Iokanaan/Jochanan reference was an interesting theme for the episode to be based around. The story of John the Baptist is from the Bible, but it was Oscar Wilde‘s version that gave Salome such an interesting character. I guess the main parallel between Salome and Solomon is how they both are in love with someone they can’t have, along with the whole kissing-the-head thing. If nothing else, it also shows how crazy James became. Incidentally, you can read the full text of Oscar Wilde’s Salome here.
The disappointment of this episode was not that Solomon died so much as how he died. It wasn’t that he was slain in the heat of battle, but rather that he got nicked by Saya’s sword as James was dropping it – that’s a really lame way. And I didn’t like that he then waited to die in an alley, though I guess dying in Amshel’s arms is somewhat fitting. At least Solomon got to become Saya’s Chevalier, if only in name and only for a short period of time. Of course, there’s always the tiny chance that Amshel has something up his sleeve to save Solomon, but I highly doubt that, particularly since Nathan made it clear to Diva that it’s just him and Amshel now as her Chevaliers. That hinges on the assumption that Nathan knows what’s going on, including all of Amshel’s moves.
That also brings up the point again of whether Nathan or Amshel is stronger or is the bigger bad guy. Once again, we see Nathan using his serious tone and Amshel not talking back to him. I still want to believe that Amshel is the final boss and that he’s just letting Nathan have his way for now, but certainly they’re portraying Nathan as a much stronger character than previously.
Next week, it looks like it’s finally time for the showdown between Saya and Diva at the opera.
That was so lame for Soloman to meet his fate … and i am tired of watching Saya and Haji getting their ass whooped. If it werent for thorn, James >>>
Saya and Haji are so uber weak compare to Diva and co
I can’t believe Solomon died… that is sad… 🙁 (and I agree, in a very lame way…)
Series goes up… series go down… Solomon dying like that was written poorly…
omg noo!! solomon :'( he’s my fav character !! provs hw much he loves saya….:(
how did solomon die?? I see there is a screen capture of saya’s sword on his shoulder… saya didn’t kill him right?
James was holding Saya’s sword. Solomon crushed James wrist, forcing James to drop the sword. As the sword is falling, it nicks Solomon. That little bit is enough to kill him by episode’s end.
That really sucked! I also hated that theyre always getting their ass whopped! he was my favorite character to damnit! 🙁
Next episode is about the concert ?? maybe the Diva saya versus ??
by the way…new resident evil : umbrella corp chronicles for Wii; main character will be Jill ( isnt official but very probable )And on e more thing…anyone knows the end of this show ??? I DIE TO KNOW !
HA i was right i told you all Solomon would die between 46 or 47 and it was 47 i knew it
I really didn’t want Solomon to die! Why didn’t he just rip off his should like Karl! There goes hope of Saya living after the final battle and living her dream.
Well, the priority for Solomon was to defend Saya, so his own well being wasn’t as important. And once the battle was over and Solomon left, it was already too late for him because of how far the crystallization had spread.
To tell you the truth i’m not really surprised about solomon dying.. but the way he died was so dumb.
D: Remind me to whack my teacher for giving Solomon such a duh end when I get back to Japan. -_-
WHY?!?!?! Solomon is dead?! “sob” Yeah…it really sucks that Solomon met such a pitiful death with just a stab from a sword. I guess with all the blood loss he had from getting whopped from Diva and now totured in bondage really had him to his last drop. Still gonna see whats going to happen in the very end. There many other ways he could have died besides just drop dead.
SOLOMON DIES?! HE DIES?!!! WHATTTT?!! man… he was my fav character too… and he died in such a lame way… n Saya dosen’t even know he died for her… well… not technically ‘for her’ but he was trying to save her
=(
poor Solomon, i say that he should’ve atleast gotten some of Saya’s love before he died, like a kiss or something… >_>
don’t kill me? ^^;
why does Solomon have to die:( that’s so sad.. i like him so much -……
OMG nooooo!
Solomon, SOLOMOOOOON!
Well actually I didn’t really expect him to survive, but they could have at least given him a glorious death! Such a weak end for such a great character.
he died in a freaking alley? man this show is just getting worse and worse
Ya Solmon dieing like that is 85 percent sure however. It seems in this series that if they dont brack totally apart and on the ground in pieces then there not dead yet. Ya most likely he died. But just saying lol. Maybe Ashel felt sorry for him and ripped off his limbs to save him. Not ikely since Ashel cared for him ya, he made sure he was there to say goodbye to solmon, which I find odd lol. I dunno the writing is really just getting really random now. James was a freaking push over and hes so slow, and Hagi and Saya got there asses kicked. I dunno wtf there going to end this, but I really think basicly everyone being killed by ashel or divia right in front of saya’s eyes is whats going to being her over the edge and past Divia’s power, which is pretty fucked up considering how much all these characters we kinda got to know, and for them to just be marters? And dont say it wont happan, a guy they put alot of storyline into and character xover was just killed like that.. meaning Solomon… James too, I mean the thorn just hits him and saya stabs him in the head with Hagi at like zero miles per hour lol. And hes done, I mean wtf was the point of beinging him back anyway? To bug the stufu? I mean really wtf is going on here. Seems this NY arc is really fucking confusing and just really oddly writen. I mean maybe there just building up to a final battle, but come freaking on, Solmon dieing like that was totally bad writing it would have been way more dramic if Ashel over powered Solmon while saya was running after him with her sword and he puts solomon in front of him and saya stabs him by mistake. Thats way more dramic. I mean wtf Saya doesnt even know hes dead. For a guy to tell you he loves u and throw everything away to die like that is very dispointing. At least carl went out with a bang and a great death within battle. Solmon gets grased by a sword and gets called a baka by a asshole before he dies. Jee thanks lol. Like I said divia slipping on a banana peal and falling on saya’s sword looks more and more possiable after that lol.
Hagi: you killed Divia, saya…
Hagi: as you wished I will kill you now
Saya: zzzzz….
Hagi: a…. where u sleeping the whole time..
Saya: zzz…..huh? Divia’s dead.. how?
Hagi: you killed her with your sword..
Saya: a.. no I looked at Divia and fell asleep, last thing I saw she slipt on something..
Hagi: well she fell on your sword so I’ll kill you now
Saya: well I didnt kill divia.. my sword did I was sleeping
Hagi: yes you did
Saya: no I didnt
Hagi: yes you did
Saya: no I’m serious I didnt
Hagi: yes you did
Saya: yes I did
Hagi: no you didnt
Hagi: hey! wait a min
Saya: fuck this man I’m going to Vegas! *she goes to run off and falls asleep again*
Hagi: damn wtf happaned to this series
Kai: who knows… all I know is I’m getting some action..
Hagi: wtf..
Kai: what?
Hagi: this is why I never leave u in a room alone with her..
Kai: aww come on man shes my sister its cool..
Hagi: how is fucking your sister cool!
Kai: a… cause it is
Hagi: no it isnt
kai: yes it is..
Mao: well ya know there not really brother and sister..
Hagi: ugh u know what screw you guys, I’m going to kill saya in the back of the ally and then I’m going to jump off the empire state building without flying…
Kai: man do whatever you want with her man, just give me 2 mins with her…
Mao: ya sure more like 30 seconds..
Kai: I told you I was tired that night!
Mao: rrrright
Hagi: damn 30 seconds, you suck dude..
Kai: shut up!
*saya wakes up*
Saya: ya really…..30 seconds, thats pretty lame..
Kai: not you too saya…
Saya: ha ha 30 second boy, cant last cant last hahahaha!
*Series ends*
that’s sad he died
i hope he didn’t>>making other end
i had that feeling before watching the eps he is going to die and i’m right
do you think there is second season of blood+??
Very unfortunate and a bad move but I sensed this would happen.
I doubt Solomon would have wanted Saya to watch him die. Then she would start cursing her bad blood again…
Hagi needs to snap out of it. And by “it” I’m referring to whatever is making him behave like a pussy. Saya already has one in her life and he’s had more than enough time to become useful.
But maybe he’s asking Saya reunite with Kai after killing Diva because he’s tired of her emo bs.
Nope – I don’t think there will be a second season.
And I’m not convinced that Solomon is dead. We don’t see him crush to peaces. And when Nathan says there’s only Amshel, Saya and himself left, it could also mean Solomon is gone for good – not to dead but over to Saya. I mean all your complaints about the way he ‘died’ makes me think if he really died…
*depress cries depress* poor everyone
I have a feeling that the cocoons are empty
arrgggh~ Chances of Seeing Solomon VS Amshel RUINED!! 🙁
Well, I agree that it is not a fitting end for a great character. But I believe there’s still a 1% chance that Solomon will be able to survive with Amshel saving him. I can’t see why Amshel would bother to go seek/find Solomon. And besides, I’ve got a feeling that Amshel does not truly cares for Diva anymore. What he’s truly concerned are the babies which will act as the new Chiropteran queens.
I don’t know if what I was told is true that Blood+ runs only for 50 eps. instead of the initial 52 eps. The remaining 2 eps. will be released as OAV this coming December. My source is a fansubber himself.
I guess we have to wait until the series ends. I don’t know how they will pull the end for this anime knowing they have to fight Diva and the two remaining Chevaliers. If the final episode will take place in Okinawa, it will make the final battle be crumped up to only 2 episodes. I don’t know if it will make it great or have just a disappointing ending.
guys if we take the Mai Otome concept in here I say Solomon is somwehere Alive, anyways if he died that way I’m gonna kil those ppl who wrote the plot Hell-ooooooooo? He dying THAT way? man even James had a better death than him *looks away sadly*
Kaichan:I also noticed that wikipedia is now only listing 50 episodes, I believe they used to list 51. So I find it interesting that it was changed to 50.
LOL, they’re riding the staten island ferry
the water in nyc is never that clean even when the sun is setting like that XDDDDD
OHNOOOOOOO!!i really liked solomon =_=
555555555555555~~~~~~~~~~ Solomon ~~~~~~~~
i hate the director!!!!!!
Like I said divia slipping on a banana peal and falling on saya’s sword looks more and more possiable after that lol.
Lol that sounds possible after all im seeing so far. xD
Is it really true that there’s only 50 episodes??! >__> So there’s gonna be two OVA’s right? I wonder what it’s gonna be about.
Sad the way Solomon died. But I already had an inkling he’ll die sooner or later and it’s sooner in this episode. He died protecting Saya so it was a fitting death for him. Amshel does actually care (surprise, surprise). If you see how his expression changes when he caught Solomon.
Three episodes left for them to get everything into gear and tie up loose ends. How much can they cram into three episodes is left to be seen.
Solomon died Not fair!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I want him back alive He was so nice!!!
Sigh .. dont tell me haji is going to die next episode.. this sucks so bad… everyone is gonna die 1 by 1 ..
solomon died.. go read the wikipedia.
Solomon is now really dead -____- …unless — but it’s highly unlikely that he’ll turn up alive somwhere.
The series is slipping in terms of its “tautness”.
Too many major characters died at the same time episodes after episodes and eveything seems to be hurried to bring end to the series. It’s unlike in the beginning of the series when some major characters died and you can really feel that the plot is gripping you.
Maybe if they really wanted to finish Diva quickly they should extract Saya’s blood, make a special bullet out of it (something almost like what Kai had) and snipe her off.
Otonashi, I also thought of that idea at one point by using Saya’s blood to make a bullet but that would only mean that the series will run a little shorter for sure.
I’m sure that Diva and Nathan will die at the opera house which leaves with Amshel as the surviving antagonist at the end of the series. Amshel might act as the major villain if there would be truly an OAV. Aside from this, if you check out the 4th opening sequence, we see Saya, and Haji fighting James, Nathan and Diva throughout the video but never Amshel. Does this mean that it is a signal that they will fail to finish Amshel off and Amshel will make his escape with the babies? For me, that is something to look forward to, aside from the confirmation that Solomon truly died cause Amshel didn’t save him.
How could Amshel save Solomon? Saya’s blood seemed to have pass through Solomon’s heart already? I’m not sure if news of Solomon’s death will ever get to Saya. I’m glad Solomon went out in a neat and concise way rather than a clique like how George died.
The assumption I made that Solomon can still be saved despite of the ongoing crystallization of his body is based on episodes 44 and 45 when James and Moses are talking with each other. In 44 according to James, he was rescued before the effects of the crytallization had spread throughout his body. Furthermore in 45, he explained that for as long as he still has his brain which can be able to control any vessel that he can use as a body (like the body of a Sif/Corpse Corp), and Diva’s blood, he can still be able to keep on living. With this, we can conclude that even if the heart of a chevalier is destroyed, he can still be saved.
The next question is why despite that James still was afflicted with the thorn in episode 47. My theory is since James had lost the affection of Diva which is as good as being disowned as her chevalier, the other chevaliers Amshel and Nathan might have decided that he can already be dispensible and they’ve set his lifespan to a limit only. In 45 according to James the lifespan of the Corpse Corp is set or fine-tuned to a period of seven days only, and can be extended depending if the need arises. Furthermore, in one of the episodes, it is said that they’ve perfected the body used by the Corpse Corp which might only mean that there’s a possibility that they can be able live forever depending on the time that was initially set. This theory can be supported because of what happened to Carl wherein he lost several limbs during the first part of the series. Later, we learned that his lost limbs were replaced with that of a Sif. He was able to live for more than a year without the affliction of the thorn on those said limbs before Saya had killed him.
Nani????????????
solomon died??
noooo i can’t beleive
this episode is not cool NEVER
shit shit shit
There is a great chance that Hagi would know Solomon’s fate (but doubt he will tell Saya). He got a frame right after the “nicked by sword” scene. It’s so quick that I only got it when I watched a third time.
-shot- -dies- Solomon!
i really hate it when the main charactar is so damn weak and only just barely beats there opponent…its so damn stupid….especial since james could have easily pwned saya which makes me think WHY THE $^&# IS HAJI SO DAMN WEAK COMPAIRED TO ALL THE OTHER CHEVALIER!!!
ugh…there im done
It seems that wikipedia has changed the total number of episodes to 52 again. But anidb is still 50 episodes while animenewsnetwork, 52 episodes.
I thought this was a deccent episode. Solomon finally dies, as many of us guessed, but the way he died was pretty fitting too. First of all, he died in his human form. Not only did this allow viewers to see that ugly monster form of Solomon’s, he was able to die as Solomon Goldmith the person and not the monster. And yeah, the frame with Haji indicates that he knows Solomon got nicked and will die, which would make sense when he comments that Solomon has surpassed the blood bond and become her chevalier, knowing the price for this is death.
Another thing that made Solomon’s death fitting is that he’s able to die doing what he wants, and for that brief moment, becomes Saya’s chevalier. That doesn’t change the fact that he is still a traitorous to Diva, and thus the fate for a traitorous knight is death. In that sense, his death serves not only to make it tragic and elegant death, but also remains consistent with the whole chevalier/knight loyalty concept.
Amshel’s expression in the end is hard to read. His appearance definitely makes it seem as though he cares at least a little for his brother. Still, as much as I like Solomon, he needs to stay dead to make this death stick and tragic. If he comes back, they’ll have wasted all this they’ve built up, wasting the episode.
My guess regarding Nathan and Amshel is simply that Nathan isn’t afraid of Amshel, and Amshel doesn’t want to bother going through the trouble of finishing Nathan, since although Nathan may not be as strong as him, he is still a formidable opponent. Nathan’s releasing of Solomon in hopes of a happier ending, and his sad (?) expression after James departs, perhaps knowing of his insanity and impending death, is a lot more thoughtful than we think.
Is it just me, or does anyone else feel sorry for James? The guy is totally loyal, loses most of his body, and totally loses his cool and becomes a psycho, nonetheless remaining faithful to his master who has forsaken him. Though he was an asshole with the Sif, I certainly felt sorry for the way he was left behind and died still worshipping Diva. I guess that shows the results of a chevalier/knight ending up with a bad lord/master. The thorn showing up on him like that does seem to indicate he was destined to die by Amshel, because like someone mentioned earlier, Carl was fine after having the new limbs.
Haji needs to pick up the slack. It’s understandable why Saya’s been weak, but for someone whose released his chiropterean powers, Haji is still pretty weak. He’s now become more of a living shield. I seriously hope they’re not trying to make this Jesus image for him the way he keeps getting impaled like the way he did with James.
It’s been a pretty good series. The only thing I’m afraid of is the fact that they only have a couple episodes left, so things might seem a little rushed. Hopefully Saya and Diva can reconcile their differences and have a happy ending like the ending song suggests and focus on killing the true bastard of the series, Amshel. If it’s going to be happy ending, only one of Kai and Haji will be able to survive, so I’d give Kai the upperhand in that department.
The last couple of episodes has really made me a fan of Nathan. I don’t really want him dying anymore, as he will be the last true loyal chevalier of Diva.
For God sake, I’m getting really sick of Saya being so pathetic! I still don’t understand why there’s such a difference between the sisters’ strength levels. How are we supposed to have a decent finale with things as they are? Diva’s a heavy-weight and Saya’s uber-feather.
P.S. Unless you actually saw Solomon crumble into pieces then he isn’t dead.
>Carl
in-depth comments..
fan of Nathan, me too^^ He’s the character that really developed during the series.
Some trivia, the blood+wiki has a very funny fan-made conversation between Nathan and Diva (http://0rz.net/ee1Ob) , since the two (voice actors) are father and son in the popular anime Shin-Chan (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shin_Chan).
This only my opinion but I think that Solomon will be saved by Amshel. He didn’t officially die onscreen. And also I think Diva will wake up to the fact that Amshel is using her. Up till this point, Diva has been cold to everyone but her babies have probably awakened a sense of caring that she has not experienced before. She and Saya might reconcile and realize that is was Amshel who destroyed their sisterly relationship. Amshel wants Diva and Saya to kill each other so he can exploit those 2 babies and start the cycle all over again.
So many possibilities …………….
i agree with Carl’s point of view. a lot of you may think that the way he died was pathetic but a think he died free and did what he wanted to do. At least he died in a very unexpected manner. saya and haji may be a weakling compared to diva and co., but one of the reason why i like this series is that the main characters are not always the ones who always have the upper hand… oh, and another reason is haji of course.
OMG, I’m so happy other people are as pissed about this (i.e. Solomon) as I am ;_; I mean, I KNEW he was going to die, but that was just stupid. So maybe it symbolizes how “being with Saya he’s always in danger” or whatever but really…couldn’t he just wear armor?! It works for James…
Gosh, I have almost no desire to finish this show now…I’m scared about how badly the ending will turn out…
I hope the series will end with some kind of hope. Its going to be tough to watch Saya end her journey……………
i dunno bout u guys (and i haven’t watched the episode yet) but i would find myself turning into a pin cushion like Hagi if i had to fight some formidable-psychopathic-chevalier of an opponent while having to protec an almost immobile (not to mention uselessly drowsy -__-) master.
Seriously, the way that Solomon died is decidely lame, but the possibility of him actually returning seem rather improbable. Considering that firstly, he has openly defected to Saya’s side it is unlikely that Amshell would be willing to save him.
I must admit, I find it really annoying the way that Saya and Haji are so horribly weak, and the fact that all they do is rush into a battle, without first forming a coherent plan. For that matter, Solomon taking on Diva in the presence of her other Chevaliars also seems completely random.
Lastly, may I add Why Why Why? Solomon was definately one of my favourite characters next to Haji, and why have they made Haji’s character so subserviant to Saya? I know he is her Chevaliar and is therefore bound to obey, but they have seriously underdeveloped his personality.
I was playing Resident Evil 3 and it was too hard for me. I couldn’t find any of the secret items anywhere and gave up. Are they on R.E. 4 or 5 now?

Thanks!
I can’t say that Solomon was my favorite character just because I loved him as much as I loved Hagi. Still….that was completely not fair! Saya doesn’t deserve these guys.

Solomon…dead? I’ll curse the one who made that story!!!
ei!!!!sta serie mola!!!!s mi 2
Oh there was a total moment between Mao and Okamura when he gave her his camara. Kinda like she realizes that he was always there for her and now hes leaving and might not come back. So sad.
Im not entiry sure soloman died. B4 the extra bit after the credits on the last episode, kai saw a roose near sayas tomb. and earlier on in the episode they were taking about the one who loves saya will come if called. i think that might be soloman (or whats eft of him.
could have been nathan but doubt it, he wasnt really into saya.
Uh…Dojo, *spoilers* that was Haji’s rose. It had his blue hair ribbon on it, and it was a pink rose, which represents Saya (she had pink roses in her room when she live with Joel I and Haji was with her) He loves her. She loves him. Solomon is pretty much dead. Completely dead. 🙁
And this episode was good. The way Solomon died kind of showed that anyone can go at any time, and it’s actually more dramatic that it wasn’t written to BE dramatic, because most shows would have him die in a spectacular, huge way, but like we’ve seen with Riku, death can occur in anyway. That’s how the real world works too, sadly, which makes it even more believable.
VERY sad though, I would have liked Solomon to have more of an ending before he died.
Susan you are totally right the show is more believable because it can relate to the real world. hey and just outta curiosity who do you think mao should end up with Okamura or kai. personally im leaning more towards okamura
Hey! Me wuv! Me wuv this!
