「クライシス・ポイント」 (Kuraishisu Pointo)

This week’s episode sadly reminded me about just how bad of a train wreck this anime was during its first few episodes. Wacky pacing and awkward scene cuts aside, I think the writers tried to stuff way too much in a single episode.

After last week’s bombshell, this week’s episode smacked us with another one — albeit with slightly less emotion.

「東京イリア防衛戦」 (Tokyo Eria Boueisen)
“Defending the Tokyo Area”

After an episode full of loli-goodness, I was left speechless.

「結界の守人」 (Kekkai no Mori Hito)
“Protectors of the Monolith”

With all the pieces of the puzzle slowly coming together, it looks like the last battle of the season will end up being a pretty good one.

「境界線の石碑」 (Kyoukaisen no Sekihi)
“The Monument on the Border”

I have to say, after all the negative things I’ve said about this show over the past few months, never have I been happier that I stuck with it and got through all the not so great parts.

「静寂の月夜、夜明けの空」 (Shijima no Tsukiyo, Yoake no Sora)
“Moonlit Night of Silence, Sky of Dawn”

I absolutely loved this week’s episode. Even with some awkward moments that could have been made so much better with just slight changes, I wouldn’t mind if the rest of the series kept up with this pattern.

They say that those who are patient are usually rewarded — and I think this episode did that statement justice. So what are you waiting for? Let’s jump straight into this thing!

「紅黒の暗殺者」 (Beniguro no Ansatsusha)

Original story or not, this week’s episode actually felt pretty good.
