Sword Art Online II – 19
「絶剣」 (Zekken)
“Absolute Sword”
I think this was my favorite episode of Sword Art Online yet — yes even more than the one when Kirito decided it was okay to finally use TWO SWORDS AT THE SAME TIME.

「森の家」 (Mori no Ie)
“House In the Woods”
While I feel like it’s a huge copout that the show is using the same opening sequence for this next arc, I must admit that returning back to Aincrad felt a lot better than I thought it would.
「エクスキャリバー」 (Ekusukyaribaa)
“Excalibur”
I mean, what do you think of when you hear hammer and mythical gods?
「巨人の王」 (Kyojin no Ou)
“King of Giants”
Continuing off of last week’s momentum, the story continues to dive deeper as it makes us wonder just how intricate a MMORPG can really be.
「湖の女王」 (Mizuumi no Jyouu)
“Queen of the Lake”
As much as I enjoyed the GGO arc, the start of this arc and how this first episode played out was exactly what I expected wanted from a second season of SAO.
「小さな一歩」 (Chiisanaa Ippo)
“Small Steps”
Leaping straight back into the action, this week’s episode started with a fitting fight to close out all of Death Gun’s antics.
「ファントム・バレット」 (Fantomu Baretto)
“Phantom Bullet”
Am I the only one who felt a little awkward by the end of this week’s episode?
「幻の銃弾」 (Maboroshi No Juudan)
“Phantom Bullet”
After weeks of enduring episodes full of dialogue and flashbacks to build up to this moment, I’ll be frank and say that I was a little disappointed that we still haven’t hit the climax. However, it looks like what we all want is right over the horizon!
「強さの意味」 (Tsuyosa no Imi)
“The Meaning of Strength”
For all of us who thought all the small talk was over, boy were we wrong.
「死の追撃者」 (Shi no Tsuigekisha)
“Pursuer of Death”
This week’s episode of SAO did a pretty good job at straddling the fine line between throwing too much or too little exposition at us by giving us just enough cool action scenes and fancy Sinon shots to make it all palatable.
