Two weeks after its premiere on NANA as the second opening, OLIVIA’s 「Wish」 hits the airwaves. I just love this song, which I think is so much better than the first OP. That isn’t to say that rose is necessarily bad song, but it just doesn’t compare to this one, at least in my opinion. Maybe it’s just that I prefer OLIVIA’s music in general – I thought a little pain was better than rose too. In any case, the PV features mainly just a contrast between OLIVIA singing on a bright stage and outside in the forest where furniture is tied up in the air. I think her dresses here look better than what she wore in the a little pain PV, but not by that much.
The single release for Wish is coming out on October 11th, 2006.

This is interesting. Now Olivia sings both the opening and ending for the anime… this shows how good Olivia’s music is. ^^
I can’t wait till the subs come out. Both the OP and the PV look fantastic and the song is great! Olivia is slowly but surely becomming one of my favourite singers.

Isi t me or does Olivia sing Baby a little oddly? This version sounds slightly different from the anime opening, the opening anime had like more echoey effects, this verison sounds like its done live.

Olivia is absolutely stunning in Wish, and I’ve already loved her songs when I heard Dekinai and Dear Angel.
Is she going for some sort of gothic-lolli style? It fits her so well, just as I imagined Reira would have been too. Pretty but not someone you should mess with :p

One interesting note… For those of you keeping up with the series, they had a special message from Olivia at the end of episode 26. It’s kind of cool that Reira is supposed to be happa (half Japanese), and they got Olivia who also is happa to write the songs and be the singing voice for Reira. I hope that we can get to a point in the series where there is another concert, and Reira is onstage for most of the episode.
