YUI performed LIFE, the upcoming new Bleach ending theme, on the Music Fair program on Sept. 17th. I’ve listened to the song several dozen times now, and I still have mixed feelings about it. So far, I really only enjoy the opening guitar part, and not so much the song itself. We’ll see if I change my mind once the new Bleach ED sequence airs.   1. It sounds a bit… shaky, but I guess that’s because it’s a live version; and the quality of the file isn’t that great either XD.
    I’m looking forward to this ending – the guitar part is really amazing!! I wasn’t really a “happy people” fan, so… (it was nice but I like this one better -> the more I listen to it the more I like it)
    The studio-version will be better, so I’m really looking forward to it 😉

    it is afterall, their opinion and perferences? and i personally like this song a lot~! =) does anyone know where i can find the translation? ^_^

  26. Hi, just heard this song as a random thing someone gave me. Sounded familiar, tried to pin where I heard it before and found my way here. To be honest, I didn’t think much of it either when I first heard it, but the more I hear it, the more it grew on me. I’m not that old, but it kind of reminds me of Joni Mitchell. It’s hard to say if it fits bleach or not, but if they can find a way for Houki boshi (a song about a person that wants to be a comet to be closer to someone) fit an anime about death gods, anything can fit, I think.

  27. i’ve heard the song life and i really think its really good. Even if i dont know what Yui is saying cause i speak English, but i think the song is heaps cool! i really hope in the future i can get more songs from Yui cause i really like them!!!!

  34. Do you guys not know chord notation in tab?

    Here’s the chords in letter notations for all of you who can’t read the number notation:

    C#sus2, F#m over the opening notes, which are based on an F#minor pentatonic scale (slide on the D and G strings from the 4th fret to the 6th then drop the G string to the 4th fret while picking, then do a 2nd-4th fret slide on the D string followed by a 4th fret D string three times)

    The rest of the song is a combination of Emajor, F#minor, Bbminor, Bsus2, D#minor and C#minor. I don’t care if you can play it or not so I’m not gonna spend time giving you the exact chord progression (and it’s REALLY easy to figure out because it’s ALL barre chords and simple shapes – I literally heard this once and sat down and played the opening picking through the chorus off of memory); if you can’t figure out Ryo’s notation, which is standard TAB chords (play them and see how it sounds if you’re a retard), then this song is already too advanced for you.
